This IS Yu-gi-oh, only for some strange reason they’re on motercycles and there is NOTHING even remotely new about it.
I thought the first yu-gi-oh had good moments, but GX and this are not.

OK this is the info u need to know about this show: This is Many years in the future after the exploits of Yugi Mutou, Domino City has become a shadow of its former self: Neo Domino City. There lies a strong divide between the rich and the poor, and bridging that gap proves to be difficult. Neo Domino seems fit to entertain itself with a wild new event called “Riding Duels”, the newest form of playing the ever popular Duel Monsters card game. Enter Yusei Fudou(Main Character Basically Future rep. of Yugi), a young man who lives on the edge of the law, making his own rules. His ultimate objective is to challenge the world champion Riding Duelist, Jack Atlas( Basically Future rep. of of a rivail) . But for what purposes…

omfg and I thought yugioh gx was already giving us a bad name know this shit is out, i’ve been a yugioh player since it started so what the fuck are these people doing, why don’t they just animate the actual champion at the world championship, that’s way better than this crap, I mean I know this is a bussiness strategie to get little kids to play the game and sell cards but if that were even the remote case why on earth are they making them dule on bikes, I mean I can get the fact of trying new strategies of cards, I can accept the name change in the whole dule system and even a new monster denomination but people come on “duleing on a 100 Mph bike just so you can activate magic cards” how the hell came up with this and worst, who the fuck lauch it on air…

I think people gotta understand they always do stuff like thing. Look at Tenchi Muyo. They had spin offs on that and other Anime came from different series. I think that the new Yu-Gi-Oh series such be given a chance; even though I must agree the bikes are somewhat distracting and outta place. But either way they are dueling and it doesnt seem as kiddie as Yu-Gi-Oh GX. SO give it a chance you cant shoot something down the first ep.

What you guess seem to NOT understand is that this is for LITTLE kids and lets face it most kids like bikes IE. regular bikes AND motor bikes so this would be a HUGE hit for kids. I know you people must be older but think of it from a childs prospective. if they already like yugioh and have a thing for motorcycles then it would be a double win for the kids to watch. PLUS… The creaters must have something conected with a motorcycle company. Im 19 and found this episode to be funny as hell… Its about time they actualy got an adult version of the game going… but if you look at the city and what it represents it kinda reminds me of New York and Down Town New York. lmfao..

I actually liked the first yugioh a lot. gx was alright… not great but watchable. this is so bad i couldn’t get past the first 10 minutes of the first episode.
okay, heres the deal…YuGiOh was one of the best animes the world has ever known. even i was hooked on it once. but now listen folks, there is such a thing as over using a theme and this is it. i mean, SunouNeozaki is right. for kids, this has to be the biggest thing since the time they came out with portable pokeman. although i also agree with a lot of other ocmmentors like the whole confusing storylines and the motercycles. all in all, i think that this anime is to be appreciated by the young and old, depending on how obsessed they are. Anime ideas are also running thin so you cant blame them for trying to recycle YuGiOh. personally i would not recommend this, but thats just me…if you hate this comment email me at krnboy2@hotmial.com

About hand held Pokemon its still better to do, ppl play games for lots of reasons, I play for the story so I really dont care if you hate on me for liking pokemon Dimond/Pearl on the DS

It’s nothing different from GX. The only differences are: one, the main character is HOTTER than… whoever that guy from GX is; and two, they have motorcycles. But… it’s got a DECENT - lol who am I kidding? - plot, nevertheless.
I still think they should make Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sequel. LOL RETURN OF THE PHARAOH. xDD

This series is crap, for sure. It’s likely just someone trying to cash in on something that was once popular. People should let things go while they’re still moderately liked.

SunouNeozaki …umm…about the kid’s stuff…Although I too understand Yu-gi-oh!is a kids anime(..at some point)but please correct me if i’m wrong:serious trash-talking(at least not the dubbed version),violence(although most also removed in the dub….-_-’ ),not too friendly-looking(FOR KIDS,THAT IS) monsters(…i don’t mean Kuribogh and things like that) and some characters too mind you(c’mon,guys like Yami Bakura and Yami Marik really don’t fit in to kiddy-rated programms…)….do these things seem too childish to you?

I liked Yu-gi-oh! DM(as in Duel Monsters=the one before GX)…well mostly for Seto and Bakura and because I loved the desighn of most monsters and the plot wasn’t all that bad…And Yu-Gi-Oh! Shadow games(i think that’s how it’s called…) was awesome…if you don’t mind the graphics(now that was something quite scary and funny at the same time:has anyone here seen Seto with green hair?I had a hysteric laugh attack when I first saw it…)

overall I do agree with this show being crapt. Specially from the fact that they added motorcycles that killed it , even as a children’s show as suggested, we are of a greater age in which we’ve no reason to act or see the perspective of a kid (not that it’s a bad idea) but now from our perspective it’s shitty matters not the age.

Well a lot of us do miss the original Yu-Gi-Oh and I am referring to the original japanese versions and not the watered down ones the US & EU get. (Sad really because a lot of the time that’s what they get)
You can’t just assume and judge by the first episode though. Before you can even give a proper and decent remark/comment watch it a little bit more, you may be surprised by it.
I think this could go either way, but this episode was good, of course nothing will beat the first and original (That applies to most things) but its new and different, with the same concept. And I’m loving the new Yugi’s hair and that fact he seems to have characteristics of Yugi and Atemu combined. Good to see his rival is very Kaiba-eaque too.
I’m hoping to see future persona’s of everyone because that would be good. And Ushio hes still a bully and an ass. XD
Thing’s really haven’t changed that much, just the setting and characters. =)
