Yu-Gi-Oh! 10th Anniversary Anime to Be Film in 2010

The November issue of Shueisha’s V Jump magazine is announcing on Saturday that the 10th Anniversary Yu-Gi-Oh! anime will be a film that will open in Japanese theaters in early 2010 with 3D graphics. Gekijō-ban Yu-Gi-Oh! ~Chō-Yūgō! Jikū o Koeta Kizuna~ will feature the main heroes of all three TV Tokyo anime series: Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters’ Yuugi Mutou, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monster GX’s Judai Yuki, and the ongoing Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Yūsei Fudō. The story will bring together the three heroes to fight Paradox, a powerful new enemy that will appear for the first time in the film.

The Yugioh movies usually suck, but this sounds interesting…even though they already used Paradox as a bad guy (or rather the Brothers Para and Dox) but whatever.

It would be awesome if the characters were a little older when they fight. Like make Judai 20 and Yugi 25 or something and then have magic de-age them. Too bad Snape won’t be around with a de-aging potion. HARRY POTTER REFERENCE. I would like to see Kaiba eat his words about magic and have the other characters from every season meet each other. I can just see Yuesei, Judai and Yugi have one large headache and snap at the same time. Judai snapping is scary. Yami snapping is epic. Yuesei snapping…well, Judai and Yami can deal with the snapping.
