I gotta admit, I loved the “post-Selvaria” view of the plain. Yeah, it didn’t look so great to begin with, but the view of the new wasteland really drove home the point that the Valkyrur are just absurdly powerful. So, yeah, “Darcsen” Calamity my ass.
I don’t remember if it was explained in the anime, but in the game, it mentions very specifically that Valkyrians only come into their full power when they’re in mortal danger.
Selvaria came pretty close to killing herself to come into her full power.

Listen Selvaria is AWESOME, you would NEVER hate her if you played her side of the story in the PS3 DLC. Her soft side and wut she’s like toward her soldiers during the imperial’s PoV in the game totally makes her better than any1 on Galia’s side

I thought that Faldio shot Alicia because he was affraid of her since she might be a valkyria like Selveria and she could draw the same power if she got her en hands on the spear and the shield the princess carried. It would be understandable because he is in a state of shock after Selveria attacks. Honestly I thought that alicia was a valkyria since ep 7 when she opened the door in the temple.
Yeah i definately knew why faldio shot alicia. to make her release her valkyria powers. she heals fast anyways. thats like the only real sensible reason for faldio to do such a crazy thing.

also on that note on the game, seems like if your “interested” in this series all the answered questions were in the game prior. so i beg to ask, is the anime following all the key events in the game so far? oh well it’s all good, it’d be like watching advent children and having to never play ff7.

But Faldio shooting Alicia like that made it too obvious that it was him, i liked it when Welkin found out by searching his room and stuff, still LOVING this and next episode should be even better (how? I DUNNO)
man fuck me, like normally you dont 100% fell what a character goes thru sometimes but this was utterly gut wrenching that he lost everyone man, totally believable because we aint seen any of this hardcore ownage beyond hardcore and its been building it up and then when we see it I was totally shocked and also traumatized lols by the power that she had fuck ME.
But man shooting her was so coold, really annoyin that have to wait two weeks if this has gotten delayed by some sports event
and fuck was so annoyin ending, faldio i reckon will get shot or court martialed or he did it to expose her as a valkyria
Alicia has to experience near mortal injury to release her Valkyrur. But that bullet looked like it hit her heart! Fatal!
Faldio did it as a last resort, I presume due to PTSD/shell shock. It’s not as if he could ask her before hand to shoot her

BTW, I really don’t know how they’re going to compress the rest of the game story. It should take about 10 episodes more to do it right, thing we know the anime is shorter.
And despite what other people may say, I agree the anime features some differences (which is a refreshing experience) but so far it keeps the same esence of the game plot.
