Actually, I’m not quite sure, but that’a what it sounded like to me. I don’t speak Japanese but I’m starting to pick up a work here or there and that’s what I thought I heard.

i was hoping for some more action or maybe more suspense here but…anyway… now we know the obious…he likes her and welkin….does as well?? hope next ep isnt as disappointing as this..

I agree Welks (btw couldn’t you choose a different nick in order to avoid confusion
). Despite the plot continues the same, these slight changes make the anime quite refreshing for people who has played the game. By the way, a Love triangle? partially shocked as Faldio didn’t show any interest for Alicia in the whole game, but in the anime. Now he has turned up a more interesting character.
Ok, with this episode 12 they finish chapter 8 from the game. Now starts the Fall of Fouzen. Probably it will take a pair of episodes which leaves 10 episodes to condensate 8 chapters.
you know, putting my love for the amazing game aside, the anime is actually kinda crappy in my opinion T-T i expected it to be about the same tier as the game story, as cool and awesome….but ahh the game tells the story better than the anime D:
for all of you getting ur fingers ready to type a reply to this, just think about it…put aside ur love and fangirl excitement about it and think. The anime… is boring.

Admittingly yes, I enjoyed the game more than the anime, but if the anime told the EXACT same story as the game it would probably still be boring knowing what’s going to happen. Plus it’s a good way for people who never played the game to join the VC fanbase.
Some of stuff such as the love triangle are a pretty interesting twist, although I do wish this anime had more action scenes.
And most of all, I wish for episodes centering around the sub characters! I needs my Karl dammit!

Some cool scenes like in the Opening where Alicia charges into battle.
From the previews it looks like Alicia gets raped in the next ep. Was that in the game?

This is what’s confusing me…
I don’t know why, but for some reason I have a feeling Alicia’s going to get the Lance of the Valkyria, or something like that. But, what hasn’t it happened yet? -__-
I don’t even know why I feel like that’s going to happen… >__>
But anyway, yeah, I want more battles and strategies and stuff, so far there hasn’t been much but what has been there has been pretty good.
Dammit! I want someone to get cool Valkyria powers like Selvaria and shiz! X3

Just wait. The game gets really good towards the end. Heheh.
And this is one of the occasions where I actually like what the anime has done more than the actual game. This level in the game was really kinda pathetic–the getaway car was driving around through the city, and your INFANTRY had to take out its engine using small arms.
At first I was annoyed that Selvaria and Jaeger showed up at the party, but it worked out so much better than I expected. Such as the Azure Witch getting out of her limo and scaring the **** out of some poor mooks.
And, no, I don’t think they’re making it a love triangle. Just a good friend helping out his clueless buddy.
This show needs to get as high priority subbing as naruto, bleach and one piece.
