this episode was amazing. like for highschool drama this show is definetly one of the best there is. the emotions i feel coming out of every episode is in the realms of code geass. and this show has single handedly re-convinced me that violence is the answer.

sweet episode. duh the fight’s graphics weren’t terribly good. this isn’t an action anime. and to the guy that asked if you can really take kendo in Japan; yes you can but as far as having wooden swords on your person during non-club activity times is still forbidden. it isn’t entirely clear why all those students were where they were tho, so it might of been after normal class hours and having a sword could of been acceptable at that time.

if you want to know a little more about this episode then read the last chapter of volume 6. That has waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy more detail to what had happen. If you don’t want to then just the last bit of the chapter because Ami does some EXTRA things after talking to Minori

Ami went over to Minori soundlessly, like a cat, and whispered into her ear,
“Has your sense of guilt disappeared yet?”
“Huh…?”
Minori turned around, her eyes wide with surprise. Looking at Minori’s shocked expression, Ami regretted saying that, her chest suddenly feeling heavier, but she didn’t want Minori to find out. Ami left Minori standing there, and snuck out of the third-year classroom without anyone noticing.
She ran along the corridor and down the stairs to gap between the two vending machines.
“…!”
After slotting herself into her usual hideaway, Bang! Ami banged her head onto the wall.
She’d said something stupid. If only she hadn’t said it. Was she intending to trigger something big by saying that? She had wanted to become a better person, which was something she had tried so hard to do, but was unable to. Bang! Bang! She banged her head on the wall twice more.
That’s right.
It wasn’t just sympathy, for there was also a certain degree of jealousy, and a myriad of other…emotions mixed together, so much so that she didn’t know what to do anymore. She didn’t know what she wanted to do, and didn’t understand, as she couldn’t do it correctly.
She wasn’t able to make her wish come true. She was unable to change, to become the person that she wanted to be.
The uncomfortable noise of a head hitting a wall sounded three more times.
i might have to start reading toradora! novel more often. that shit was EPIC!!!!!!!!!!! if you read not only chapter 6, but chapter 5(the beginning of this episode) too then you will see just how awesome this is. thx toradora novel fan. you just won me over

Minori likes Ryuuji, but she felt guilty because Taiga was so close to him; and depended on him… so she didn’t admit her feelings, but after that scene in the classroom she seems to realize Taiga truly does like Kitamura, and not Ryuuji… so it looks like shes now willing to dash forward herself

ill say this again this episode was so epic with everything that was said in this episode but there are still some misterys and feelings left unanswered
I’m sort of disappointed in this anime. I thought Kitamura was rebelling because he wanted to live for himself from now on, instead of trying to fulfill other people’s expectations of him.
Being an honor student and vice pres. meant he had little time for himself, and he finally realized there’s better things out there.
In the end, this anime went the typical path of love struck character crippled by his desire for someone else. A bit corny and unrealistic at best. It’s too bad, because there was some real potential there for a second, but I guess the animators wanted to choose the easy way out.
FUCKIN AWESOME FIGHT LOL…TAIGA WAS BOUT TO BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF HER LMAO.. but seriously, i liked this episode, they finally showed the president for who she really is. (a big ol softy lol)
