Great episode with loads of tension for Morgan, Octavia and Lidia. A sad ending as well but from the sound of things, she wasn’t really that stable to begin with so I guess that was the best ending for her. Good episode. I’ll wait for the subs! Thanks for posting!

It was a really sad episode!! I cried buckets in the end, but then I cry easily. So they were friends to begin with? How sad! What a way to end a friendship!!!!

What!!? She’s gay! Is there no one for Arthur to love? Everyone that you think he could be with turns out liking Arawn or becomes gay. What the hell! It better have been sister type of love. I just feel sorry for for the guy. good episode wish the battle was longer though.

I have enjoyed every episode so far. I’ve never played the game so maybe that’s why i’m not disappointed. That being the case, i’m glad I haven’t played the game! As it stands, I think this series has been highly enjoyable. Taking each character at face value, I’ve grown to like them all: Rhiannon’s quiet, comforting personality, Arthur’s brash, youthful and couragious love for his people, Morgan’s carefree nature, Arawan’s apathetic demeanor overcasting his more caring side, Octavia’s rigid moral and noble sense of justice. These platitudes, as they may be seen by others, are enriching to me. Sure, they may be cliche, but what can I say; even if it’s a broken record at it’s foundation, the cosmetic creativity on the surface always keeps me jumping for more.

I figured Lydia’s death needed to happen, especially if she comes to terms with her own flaws. I can’t say I liked Lydia that much. I thought she was interesting when they first showed her, and the way she commanded her troops in the first battle gave me the impression she was a level headed leader; one that would force arthur to think more carefully and strategically before fighting the way he normally does. But once they revealed her connection with Octavia, all that stability fell apart and ever since that point, she made reckless mistakes and she became overconfident and arrogant. At that point, her greatest advantage was out the door and it only went downhill from there for her.

I did find it strange that her crimson guards also seemed to suffer a depowering after the first encounter. I would have liked to see some improvement on Gael’s side if they were going to fight the crimson guards again. Nevertheless, the question of Octavia’s loyalty was a very important step in the series I thought. It helped to ground trust into the Gael tribe and those close to her; her metal needed to be tested in that way and so I completely understand the import of having such an episode. I also can appreciate that it was Morgan who was the vehicle for the greatest suspicion since she was Octavia’s first friend from the tribe. If Morgan can go through extremes in here trust of her and come out feeling more confident about Octavia’s loyalty to them, then, by default, She becomes the architype for all the protagonists suspicions, pooled into one. It will be interesting to see where the series goes after this episode. Until then, I look forward to the next!

Well this I think was a little diffrent from the game. I’ve played it (good work on the writing btw) and things in general from the game to anime transition are pretty much the same and done pretty well. But you didn’t learn about the kids training with Octavia until the end of the game. (Though it is indeed a VERY long game.)

Kinda sucks that Arthur doesnt get a girl, they all go to the “great devil king” I find that kinda lame at least give Arthur one girl jeez.
