   I knew eventually Asura would kill Arachne, i just wished he could’ve done it much cooler like ate her face then ripped all her s**t up or something…

   but this episode did disappoint me, i think the best part of it was BlackStr getting kicked in the gonads lol…

    Ashura. Means demon and sword at the same time. Consumed his own weapon, has killed Shinigami (HOW? That was a weak ass blast!) and now has eaten the soul of the strongest witch.

    You’re trying to tell me, that Black Star who was given so many consessions just to beat Mifune, Death the Kid… who is o par with Black Star (when they both have weapons) and Maka are somehow supposed to beat ASHURA just by having Sul play the piano???? That’s shit. That’s the most unbalanced thing ever. None of them even have Death Scythes! But somehow their “special abilitis” is supposed to combine up enugh to kill Ashura? Come on. I hate to say that this was a rushed ending but it was. This is more lopsided messing up of a story than what Toriyama did with the Majin Buu Saga!

    Whatever just end it.

    i agree with kaze tbf. They had been going all out the entire episode. Shinigami managed to take off the arm of asura… but that did fuck all. They had been fighting for ages and not one attack really seemed to do any damage. Then one blast which looks pretty similar to the one asura did at the start of the episode (which shinigami ate with his hand) wiped them all out and defeated the supposed strongest character in soul eater.

    i know maka and soul are sposed to be the main characters but they are so weak in comparison to the demon kishin and shinigami sama that the ending would appaul me if they joined forces to beat asura.

    P.S. the shinigami chop in this episode is the most epic its been in this series and one of the most epic attacks iv ever heard in anime LOL.

I sit here waiting for Shinigami to fight, show me his power and he gets pwnd a shot he ate and farted out his ass at the begininng..ARE YOU SERIOUS? I hate the fact that its getting changed to Maka attempting to defeat the Kinshin..SHE SUX..This makes no sense…

    The bullshit is just like Bleach, Ichigo couldn’t defeat Noitra (#5 Espada), but he his supposvely going to kill Uliqqioura (#4) and we all know he will probably be the one to battle Aizen, when you have many more characters stronger then…YAMAMTO, Youriochi, Kiskue,Kyoko,etc..

    I watch the mangas anyway, in Soul Eater Arachne ate the Kinshin, and there is a guy named Noah running around claiming to be Eibon.

    I couldn’t hate maka much more if i tried. Soul is pretty cool, but this whole black blood thing has dragged on too long, plus they’ve set it up for a predictable ending.

    Black blood Maka/Soul, chain resonating with Kid/Black Star, demon hunter, “epic” swipe, Kisshin dead.

    What makes it even more shite is that i think eating arachne’s soul has made the Kisshin a Death Scythe =/

    It’s not SUPPOSED to be following the manga storyline, and by expecting it to, you’re just setting yourself up for disappointment. It’s like watching the current Battlestar Galactica and saying it’s not following the storyline from the original 1978 series. Of course it isn’t; it was never meant to. It’s the same series, but a different continuity.

    I have to say that sometimes away from the storyline is pretty good. Even though i do not read manga. Rosario and a Vampire over did it way to much off the manga but soul eater found a pretty good ration i have to say. Manga its excited animated =p

    nah this anime ends at like episode 51 or 52 iv heard. I don’t think its a bad thing that anime strays away from the manga.. thts not dissapoints me at all.

    Its how the strongest character in the anime has been defeated by a blast that did not seem that much powerfuller than the one he ate with his hand. Im pretty concerned that this anime is gonna go from an 8.5/10 anime to a 6.5/10 anime when if cud have been a 9.4/10 anime (purely opinion). If they wanted this anime to be logical and incredable, the fight between shinigami and asura shud of been 2 eps long and a VERY CLOSE battle .. i wudnt of mind then if the kishin won purely because its understandable… but the way he won in this episode is very poorly done.

    now we’re lead to believe that 3 children who don’t have death scyth are going to defeat the man who killed the shinigami with 1 blast. What? by sum chain resonance?? if thats the key to defeating asura then why ddnt the shinigami chain resonance with the strongest of shibusen.. the story has become highly illogical and flawed.

    the only way this anime will be seen as great in my eyes is if shinigami is pretending to be defeated or has another ace up his sleeve. that or asura..by logic.. due to his overpowering strength and madness.. defeats maka, soul, death etc.

    It won’t load the episode, but by the comments I would agree with Rake Clown, and everyone, it was an epic series but they seen to be rushing the ending.
    Also, just wondering, is Chrona do anything in the last couple of episodes? I know she was injured, but as soon as the soul vibrations wear off shouldn’t the black blood just heal her?

    I will guarantee you that the ending will be suitably epic. First off, that final blast (he he, DBZ reference) _was_ stronger than the other one, it just wasn’t animated well. It’s difficult to show relative power in a head on view. Secondly, you’re right, it’s kind of stupid that the strongest fighter in the series was defeated in one blast. It’s even stupider to assume that Maka, Black Star, and Death the Kid will all be as weak as they have been throughout the series. Remember that DtK is a Shinigami as well, and it’s possible that Senpai isn’t dead yet. Idk, he didn’t look all that dead to me. Just beat up. Maka and Soul do have a whole lot of catching up to do if they are going to be any good at all against the Kishin, however. But Black Star, well, we haven’t even seen what he can do yet. Personally, I think he’s gonna be the one to pwn theKishin. But that’s probably just wishful thinking…

    The anime was really good at the beginning but now it just seems so rushed (Shinigami and Arachne aren’t dead yet in the manga, but the anime rushed it and just took them out). And how Shinigami was pawned annoys me. Why did he block it with his body instead of with his hand that pretty much just brushed it off at the beginning of the fight? He even ate Kishin’s blasts at the beginning. The Soul Eater world’s most powerful superbeing who literally single-handedly ripped Kishin’s skin off and wrapped him in it was defeated so easily by Kishin? Doesn’t make sense, Kishin was strong enough so that Shinigami couldn’t kill him permanently, but not strong enough to beat Shinigami. Kishin at most should have been the 2nd strongest, his blast shouldn’t have made that much damage.

    omg wow , i still didnt take in this whole episode. Shinigami dead over a little blast like that, are you serious!?! And here i thought it was going to be an intense battle. And to top it all off, the kishin just floated back to Arachne, spit a few words, and then reached in her chest and took out her soul with ease ARE YOU SERIOUS!?!
    well its whatever, probably didnt have enough money to even finish the anime cuz this was a crap ending, im just hoping black star does something wicked cuz maka is such a lame character.

    I thought this fight was going to be really “EPIC,” but I was sadly mistaken. Now Maka, Kid, and BlackStar are going to fight Kishin!?!?!? How are they going to pull that off especially after Kishin ate Arachne’s Soul?? I mean common: Kishin + the strongest witch’s soul = unstoppable.

    The ANIME does not have to follow the MANGA storyline.. People need to realise this.

    Also the way Arachne and Shinigami died (If he is dead, which i dont think he is) is because they let there gaurd down and took the full hit of the blast which was stronger than the others with no defence.

    I think the ending of this is gonna turn out pretty predictable.. Maka with her Anti-Demon Sythce will kill him off..(Though id prefer to see him win and mess up the world, just to make it that bit diffrent)

    This was a great anime that just went downhill as they tried to crush so much stuff into so few episodes which is making for a poor ending. Just wish they took some time and carried out some of the manga plots.

    but i mean it is understood that it’s all because they are trying to rush the ending, but damn they could’ve came up with something much better

    i hope that in the near future…when the Manga is completed…they will do like they’re doing now with Full metal aclhemist…where they will redo the anime but this time it will absolutely follow the Manga

    fight was quite disappointing tbh, had some good bits in it but I am guessing they ran out of money or time, I mean this really should of been penned for 2 episodes and they cud of easily cut a excalibur episode out. I mean seriously this was the sugar bit and they didnt do it right. the first fight between the two was to short too but was even shorter in the manga. But seriously we been waiting 48 freaking episodes, 48 weeks of our live which is year and 2months they better not disappoint with the fight between maka, kid, star and the kishin.

    Sorry SHAQ B but it is already a known fact that ichigo is stronger than ulquorria because when yammy and ulquorria came to earth and ichigo saved orihime ulquorria stated ” when his power was fluctuating just now at one point it was even with mine and at another point it was even greater than mine” so dont count bleach out yet it is just leading up to ichigo releasing his full hollow and shinigami powers!!!

    I do also agree with Rake Clown and Kaza there is no way shinigami could of lost like that and if he lost none of them stand a chance! Not even Stien and while he was with medusa he almost killed maka and a death scythe..

    But it does suck that this series is about to end i expected so much more out of it!

    Bad logic. The first 20 or so episodes followed the manga almost exactly. Did you think it was boring or did you continue watching it because it was awesome? It was AWESOME at the beginning, it wasn’t boring because it followed the manga. The manga writers are genuises who made the storyline famous, which made people want to make an anime about it. And now suddenly they rush it and deviate from the storyline that had so much success. A lot of people think it’s getting worse, and I don’t think your logic applies. It IS getting worse, and it DOESN’T make any sense anymore. Like I said, Kishin had his fricken skin ripped off in the past, and now suddenly he could beat Shinigami? Shinigami is the world’s strongest, even if he lets his guard down, he shouldn’t lose, because in battle there will always be situations where they catch you off guard, but he’s still around because in the past he probably was smart enough to block with his hand instead of with his body. But for some reason the anime just kills him off in a really really dumb way.

    If the shimigami is dead then shibusen would fall off BREW because his soul is dead, so hes MORE THAN LIKELY alive. Plus, I don’t think that in a show like this they would kill off one of the somewhat main characters, but I’m not going to argue this point because the Third Hokage died in Naruto.
    I understand if the manga is mildly better than the show, keep your opinions to yourself. It’s one thing to like a book more than the movie/show, it’s another to read every book and watch every show and then get pissy about how a character wiped his nose with the left hand rather than the right and then blab your asinine opinions over the internet.

    Do what I do, only read and watch what interests you.
    Laugh at everyone else that wastes their time watching something that they hate.

    blackfire, u can say u nerds need to stop bitching all ya like but the reason people can comment on these videos is to give their opinions and what they are thinking. people are allowed to say what they want and your going to get a wide range of opinions.. if u don’t like that then how about u stop reading other peoples comments. i LOVE this show.. havnt read the manga yet and im not going to untill this show ends. one of the main things u look for in a show is concistancy of the storyline and it wasnt shown this episode is all people are saying. the other thing people are saying is that they are dissapointed that the anime doesn’t follow the manga. the anime doesn’t have to follow the manga. but i can understand where those manga lovers are coming from i mean.. wudnt u want to see a manga u were highly intrested in animated instead of just being read in black and white? opinions on the anime are good things so don’t knock em :P… we gotta voice what we want somehow so the writers know what to deliver.

You’re welcome to criticize this, but I will neither be bothered by it nor is it likely that I’ll return to this particular page (except perhaps to DL the episode). By the way, it’s called trolling.

    The last few episodes disappointed me, but I’m glad this fixed it! I hope they manage to get a nice, wrapped up story. I absolutely loathe anime when they make a noticeable rush (SE avoided it by splitting off the story line completely). I hope they end it before it goes downhill.

    did you see how they ended Claymore over manga ? then manga went on heiatus ? and giving Weird ending.. and the manga far as good as the anime with Claire Action in combat

    OF course I think the Final battle of Soul eater will be something but damn too bad it ended.. Il be just watching other thing maybe and playing game

    anyway i read the manga and its like people are starting to say.. the manga is great!! really is fkin awesome but it’l only ever be captured in black and white when if the animaters ddnt waste any time it could of all been captured perfectly. instead this is a rushed ending with a very inconcistant ending :/

    I know for a fact Soul Eater ended at episode 51, It said so at the end of the episode.

    But, there is a slight chance there might be a season 2.
    All we can do, is hope to what ever god you worship there is. :/

    lol i agree with PAGES, i kinda had a feeling that this ep would end up this way tho… i knew tht Asura would target the weak right when Asura claimed his victory in the begining of the battle when shinigami usually owns his ass… kinda obvious??

    but i dont agree with shaq B bcuz ichigo was super weak when getting ownd by Grimjo or w/e his name is… to me i thought if ichigo was fully ready to get down then he would have served the #5 espada, but thats just my opinion(srry for the mis spellings and abbreviations…)
