I knew brew would either allow shinigami to leave shibusen and break whatever spell bound him to it, or either allow for him to move with Shibusen somehow and I was RIGHT!!!! CRAZY episode, the giant robots fighting, and Black star coming back how awesome is that, i still wish his fight with Mifune was as good as that of the one in the Manga tho
but shinigami at him into shibusen just so he could fight him on his grounds next episode is gonna be even more super awesome i can’t wait!!!!

You just made me remember about an early episode when (I think) Kid was explaining his father’s inability to leave the city. Thus the only way for Shinigami to move around was for Soul City to literally stand up and walk away. It was straight up foreshadowing!!! LOVE THIS SIRIES!!!!

very over the top and tooney (odd considering it seemed to be getting darker and more seriously lately) and the next episode looks like it’s going to end up being more of the same.
While this was awsome, I hope they take the last few episodes a bit more seriously. They’ve been preluding to the epic Asura showdown almost the entire series, if they turn it into a big joke to rush the ending I’ll be rather disappointed.

Ohh looks like the end to the Black Star vs Mifune fight turned out well… not Manga-level but very satisfying… he almost had me there with the huge demon blade being the first Kata D:
OMG HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE NOTICED THAT THIS SERIES WILL BE ENDING SOON…they changed the story line to get rid of characters that are still living or aiding during the attack on the spider castle…now we see that Death will fighting the main guy so fast that it has to be that they want to end this series quickly…but if you think about it its better to finish it then to leave those who dont read the manga hanging with a fight starting then fade to black never to air again…im more for how the manga has gone but i FUCKING LOVE the animation just wish they didnt feel they had to rush the series to an end…it will be like ippo and Fullmetal Alchemist that ended but the manga went on but now they are going back and re airing new eps to follow the manga…who knows maybe the future will be the same for Soul Eater someday when they realize just how great the series is….fingers crossed for that …thx for reading peeps

LAME!!! TOO LAME!! DAMN! im so pissed!! i was all hyped when i saw that blackstar was kinda like super saya mode, showed his ridiculously lame move, mysteriously got barely hurt and defeated mifune….GOD! it was so freakin cool in the manga! i had started to think that this anime wouldn’t be that bad even if it had changed its greatest climax in the manga…GOSH! if only they had left that part intact..i would have thought of this anime as the best….now i can only feel shame for having such great eps and lame moves….anyway…hope next ep is better cause i don’t know if im gonna end this anime after seeing such a lame assed ep…truly disapointed… totally recommend u soul eater lovers to see the mifune vs black star fight…it is far better than this shit…onemanga.com or mangafox.com…u won’t regret it..
I agree that Black Star versus Mifune things was poorly done.
As for the robot stuff. You guys know that whenever Shinigami is involved things are so UNserious. Like his meeting with Medusa “Pumpkin Pants” and eveyr timehe meets with Sid or the Coffe guy. Shinigami is foolish. I doubt it will end with the fight inside of Shibusen.
If it does. That will be a poor ending but yes beter than just having it be cancelled. Remmebr it could be worse…could be a G Gundam ending.
man so gonna be reading the manga after this, but holy crap at the shinigami fight demon god next ep they better not mess it up, this is like the money shot for the show so they better not mess up and disappoint me like they did with the climax to mifune fight. LOL at the crazy mechs!

i thought that Brew would be great weapon but it turned out just a moving robot without gun and power, just physical strength. nah mifune vs black star was suck, i thought it will be a long fight. well obviously demon god isn’t died,yet because he was not put on his show.(even i don’t read manga). i guess it is about to end in April-spring season begin.

Was most looking forward to black star fight as in the manga it was amazing along with Tsubaki’s other ‘modes’.. But in the anime.. it pretty much sucked.

Yeah last episode Air’s on 3/30/2009, I thought it was going to keep going like Bleach and Naruto….well I hope their will be another season. The Black Star vs. Mifune fight was OK but could of been a lot better than that, it was a big let down since Black Star is my favorite character.
WTF MAN. im seriously dissapointed with black star vs mifune fight. seriously the manga version was MORE epic with as black star gains a complete new form of the fey blade - Shadow Star 1st Kata - 4th. 2nd kata was not reveal. god damn it. the manga battle was seriously more more more more more more epic. and as for kid, he became seriously more powerful as he had used BREW which one of its powers is soul amplification. therefore rendering one of Kid’s line of sanzu(the 3 lines on his hair) to be connected. each fully connected line grants him new levels of power… wtf man. seriously this episode was a gundam seed rip off.

I love this show! And although some people think that Shinigami- sama is not serious enough thats the way the show is made. I mean for goodness sake it’s made by Square Enix there isn’t exactly going to be a bloodbath anytime soon. Still, cant wait for 48!
