    The fact that Maka interfered and broke shibusen and medusa’s deal probably means that 1. She doesnt care about the consequences of breaking the deal or 2. She has left Shibusen as well.

    This is definitely a great anime and I agree that, even with only 45 episodes so far, this gives Naruto and Bleach a run for their money.

    naruto and bleach are crap, dont list them as top animes; they are mid-grade; i’d like to say so is one piece because ppl act as though its god send… but i love the characters in it so i’d say its pretty high up there, as is soul eater (although not as good as its manga counterpart)… anyway when it comes to high quality anime dont put naruto and bleach in there cause they’re not; this one is, as are a few others on this site

    I don’t particularly love Naruto and I’ve never even seen Bleach but its pretty obvious because of their fan base, and because of their 200+ episodes, that they are pretty major animes. Even if you don’t like them, its hard to debate that they aren’t up there in the list of most popular anime.

    But, we’re getting off topic. xD
    Soul Eater is awesome and I love it.
    I really hope it lasts longer than 51 episodes
    (or I hope that they, atleast, make another season).

    pssst you get to 200+ episodes by filling the series with crap. lol filler filler filler. Naruto was wicked in the beginning and the animation was for a few of the episodes was incredible… anyone remember the Rock Lee vs. Bone user fight??? awesome. However, Soul Eater has constant action and it’s only given us two lame epsidoes… Excalibur =P

    So hopefully next week Excalibur shines as the ultimate weapon!!!

    Spoiler: What are you all talking about this is boring crap. this is filler, filler, filler… Buttataki Should be dead already with Stine Framed and an outcast. kidds twin magnum 44, black star kagebushin tec and boring old maka with a 3rd stage death scythe should be have happened after kidd kicks the living poopie out of black star, Medusa lead them to her sister and Ebion appears on scene.

    ok, first off; just because an anime has 200+ episodes doesn’t mean its high quality, and the fanbase is strictly those morons brainwashed by Naruto; and to those people, go f*** yourselves; the show is crap, not anywhere near soul eater level; same to bleach and its fans

    now then for those idiots not knowing what quality means; its about how well the drawings are done as well as voice acting, soul eater BY FAR has some of the best voice acting i’ve seen… i mean, you can feel the emotions in it; naruto had this back in the day, up to around episode 70 or so and then became shit; once again same to bleach (want to say one piece as well but i’m a fan of its art)

    100% agree.

    And as for “i beat akuma”, yes we know it’s not following the manga. We’ve been discussing that for the past while now. Technically, this is not filler either since the anime is purposely straying away from the manga and making a new story of Soul Eater. It’s nothing new, many animes end (or even start) differently than it’s manga counterpart. When this series ends it will most likely be completely different than the manga’s ending.

    Come on guys Naruto isnt that bad and bleach towards the end is awesome i mean wait until the the last episode cause the manga is getting intense, and about soul eater ok its a decent anime but am i the only one who thinks the manga story line is better i mean these anime episodes tore apart the perfect plot of the manga but this is my opinion so be nice guys LOL

    1 You’re only saying that to show that you knew about Soul Eater before it became a show.
    2 The animators made the show different from the manga because ppl like you read the manga, there for doing things this way makes things interesting and not so predictable.
    3 Naruto and Bleach got gay and you know it. After Sasuke left, so did I
    4 It’s funny how you bash the show, yet you’re on episode 45
    5 Go watch your stupid fillers if you hate this show so much

    This show is really awesome. I think that it could even be better than Bleach and Naruto in some aspects. One being that it is not bloated (like an old man who just ate Chinese food) with filler episodes.

    im goin to have to disagree with you neji, this anime has a great storyline and all but bleach has been an ongoing series with some filler, but it still keeps me strongly interested in the anime. This arc ongoing at the moment has been the best yet.

    you know whats funny i watch all of them except for bleach cause that shit is wack and as for naruto if they didnt have so many damn fillers you all be riding it like its no tomorrow soul eater lacks alot in comparison but it makes up with the shortage of fillers but there are also animes that dont get enough credit that holds 12 to maybe 24 eps and is better then them by all means so just shut the fuck up put your comment on about the show and nothing more cause seriously all of you should really watch animes that brings the total package instead of basing it on how good the fight cause i hate to see some one do move then explain how to do it to there opponent for the next three eps iight so please stop comparing animes especially if your not looking at all aspects of it assholes

    Has anyone ever heard of the word opinion? Just like noses and ears everyone has their own. If i think that Bleach and Naruto are amazing, well that’s my own prerogative. Likewise, if someone hates Bleach and Naruto, that is theirs. It is really annoying and juvenile to tell someone that something they like is stupid, or not good, or,(Boo is a prime example) what qaulity “really” is. if you don’t like something, good for you, it’s your own right, but don’t tell someone else to “go f**k yourself, the show is crap”, all your doing is showing off your inability to reason and make an adult argument……oh wait, i forgot, im talking to a bunch of middle schoolers. oh well.

    I personally enjoyed the episode and can’t wait for the next one.

    I honestly can’t watch Naruto any more :/ I am so confused by it, like really. I don’t get it.

    And as other people have stated all the fillers are beyond annoying. Soul eater has little fillers (besides excalibur :P)but, they don’t go on for like ten episodes straight. And it’s soo easy to understand, at least for me it is.
