For everyone whos saying d.gray man is better make sure you back up your words. I like both d.gray man and Soul Eater equallly ^^.
D.gray-man is better for the simple reason, that it is more serious on the fights, and its less kiddish then this anime. The scenes in D.gray-man always leave you wanting more and you get sucked into the characters, in my opinion, and no one has to agree with me, the characters in D.gray-man are much more real and COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLER then these. Plus the plot that soul eater uses is to closely related to every other anime out there, not sayin its not good, i love it, but D.gray-man has a unique touch to it that SoulEater doesn’t
ya I agree with blitzking; soul eater is good as a stop gap while waiting for d gray man which is far better (at least its better if you’re not a kid). I guess what I mean is that they are aimed at different audiences. Im sure many people will take this as an insult; this is not my intention };-P

You cant compare Grayman and Soul Eater. They both have their moments. Right now Grayman is ontop because they have a story that keeps ppl on edge. Soul Eater doesn’t. If someone would step in and start watching Soul Eater from this episode Im pretty sure they wouldn’t care to understand much. You don’t even know who this cartoon revolves around. Im not trying to find flaws in this cartoon it makes my day sometimes but. Why would you compare an anime with just 16 episodes to one getting close to its 100th. Its an over kill.
So, compare dgray man first 16 episodes with soul eater and still same result: D gray man is in a different league. Its simply a more mature anime with much more thought gone into characters (even at the beginning) and plot; unlike soul eater which, as mentioned before, is essentially a copy of very over used anime cliches. Anyway, thats the last i’ll say on it. If people prefer soul eater then their loss really; no accounting for (bad)taste.

On the matter of if D.gray-man is better, it is completely different than D.gray-man and you can’t really compare them, I personally like more serious animes, though I really like this anime that is more unique and I haven’t really experienced before and that is why I keep watching it. Not because I think that it is going to be any better, it is what it is.

the subs sucked and i like d gray man and soul eatr but to those that say d gray man is batter have you read the recent stuff. it sucks story is convuluted and they spend three months on a new story line that goes no where (the zombie one for the ones reading the manga) dont worry d gray man might pick back up but right now its going down hill. soul eater though is still getting better and the charecters are plenty developed and as far s d grays story its really very simple or at least it is till the 14th shows up then its convuluted
