    Loving this show. JAP is such a cool opening song too!

    Dude, this bad guy really plays dirty. I guess he thought his guys couldn’t win without his drugging their opponent.
    BTW, did Matsunaga Hisahide (the bad guy that looked like he used to much hair gel) blow himself up? That was so cool!!
    This episode was awesome and Koujuro & Yukimura did lots of cool fighting.
    I must admit though that I missed Masamune’s fighting and his adorable English. Maybe next time, huh?

    you guys DO know this anime was a video game first..and the ‘devil kings’ is on the bargian list here in the states, because it wasn’t popular? also, japan has sengoku basara two, SB2: heros, SB cross, (for ps2) and battle heroes for the psp?

    there’s even people who’ve eben cosplaying this at aime cons for years…and by now are sick of ‘what villiage are you from’ when they cosplay sasuke….heh,like me.

    Every time Sasuke made an appearance I was wondering if they’d based him on a character from Naruto. For some reason he just looks like he belongs to the Naruto anime.

    Devil kings the game pre-dates naruto. Also, these are all historical figures, a sin, despite the silly, all these people exsited in japanese history at sme point. Sasuke served Yukimura until his death just before the seige of osaka castle….Yuki was 45 when he died, Sasuke was 36…he got caught in an animal trap escapeing with information, and ahd to cut his own leg off. he neevr made it home, he killed himself to keep the info out of enemy hands. hanzo hattori pretended to be sasuke for half a eyar before Kotaru fuuma (the ld guy, hojo’s ninja) killed him. Ten ninja served Yukimura, Sasuke was one of the heads of that group. Jinpachi was another. Shizukamaru was the third. Of all ten ninja serving Yukimura, Only Shizukamaru, and Jinpachi survived the seige of Osaka. and of thsoe two, only Jinpachi lived to die of old age.

    If you guys really like this anime you will probably really like the Managa Samurai Deeper Kyo its based around the same sengoku era and almost if not all of the same characters in japanese history

    yes this anime is like a history lesson and the games were pretty dope if u like japanese history as far as subs go with an anime this hot and action packed do u really need subs? I’d advise a few classes in japnese. If taking a few classes is too hard for you then you really need to start listening to what you hear and read at the same time, cause after months of hearing the same words in every anime you all should at least understand japanese enough to fill in the blanks after you hear a name being said. I love this anime and this is my officiall favorite of them all. And thats saying alot concidering I’ve watched anime for over 23years of my life. Also im not sure whos interested but they have 12″ figures of all these guys over in japan and some special collectors stores here in the states.
