Awesome epi. Still don’t know anything baout Majong, but it intrigues me.
Saki was great in it, I agree some intense Majong. I can’t wait to see them play against the big boys, but I know that might not be for now.

I thought you would have to discard one tile everytime you “kang”. How come Saki never discard any tile? She Tsumoed with 20 tiles.

only if it’s a 3 of the same kind of tile, but if it’s a 4 of a kind, as a special rule, you get to draw again, as you can see Saki “kang” or “kong” on the 1 circle that Koromo discard, which with her already 3 of the same kind of 1 circle in hand makes a kang. and knowing she already has 4 of a same kind of 2 circle and 3 circle, she was able to kang everytime she draws.
but if stop a 13:34 you can get a good look at her hand and then just add all that she draw. hope that helps
yeah….good episode i don’t know much about mahjong and i don’t think i ever played it before but i figured the last move saki made was a super-ultra rare move. grats to kiyosumi for entree to the nationwide tournaments
