ok…. this anime Got my brains mixed up.. It doesnt make any sence >.< i really Dont understand.. First they meet, fall in love.. Later He wants to break up because someone has the same illness.. The Teacher loses her licence, Comes back to earth like a Dé Já Vú and he suddenly remembers… So god damn confusing.. Though it’s been fun to watch out of boredness.
I also watched this one out of boredom, and i think it was good enough for my time. At first glance, the storyline is confusing with many misguided emotions from the characters and a lot of satirical blips. I think the complications are a bit convenient seeing as how the teacher/extraterrestrial falls in love with a child not knowing that he was of a legal age, but this is Japanese humor/drama so hey…I like the plot twists because, if you want to make sense of them, you have to place yourself in the shoes of the character. Seeing how the main character went so long trapped in a psychological prison can, when reflected upon, provide insight into the invisible cell that he had to live with everyday. After meeting the girl that had the same illness as he did, he found a person that had gone through the same suffering as he, he didn’t want to suffer alone because he knew how hard it was, and so he tried to match his life closer to hers so that he could help her get through the stopping. The idea of stopping in general is pretty terrifying considering the “human” aspect it steals from the character. Anyway, this is not your average tightly-coiled pile of anime on your front lawn though at times it pushes it…I enjoyed it though.
