evangelion, always a classic. The ending however is not the nice happy luvy dubby ending for which im glad to see for a change.
Wow. First time watching Evangelion; just finished the entire series including this. I liked the original ending as a piece of art, but this ending was more entertaining (though it manages to be even more random than the original!).
The ending line made this movie. Now, I won’t ruin it ,but I was in tears after hearing it. Duty calls, eh?
P.S. Can’t wait for Rebuild of Evangelion; I just hope it isn’t beating a dead horse.

congradulations evangelion i dont know where my sanity went but this was so much more fucked up than the original ending
ummmm yeah… loved it… this ending was probably 20x better than the series….
however when you watch this and the other movie in one night right before bed is NOT instructed…. i woke up in a panic attack

1997 a girl called lauren was walking in a forest and then a she just dissapeared no one ever found her untill 2000 when a yoing girl called Mary found her body and markings on her chest saying: I wasnt pretty enough” and now you have read this she will appear in your mirrorrsaying your not pretty enough and kill you. by the way the girl called mary died shortly after. its not an alternate ending it is the ending cuz this is what supossed to happen while in the series talk about the characters on last episodes
The whole movie is about how a boy named sinji goes about his life with problems, so what does he do… he runs away from them. In the end he finds out that he can’t be running away from his problems. he finds out that he needs to live life with love and find answers to find a meaning to life for happiness.

That was the most messed up thing I’ve seen I my life. What in Gods name am I watching? Oh and Wont Sinji and Auska just die in couple weeks without food anyway?
Time to start re-populating ;]. The last five episodes fucked up my mind, but I think I got the jist of it. I dont see what the point of everyone dying is? And there’s still so much unanswered shit about Asuka and rei. Overall it was good. Confusing as fuck but good.

if u want a “happier” ending u gotta be 18+ (18+ due to a few sex scenes o.O) an extremely great artist was able to make a continuation of this movie we just watched which is a better ending. It is called “Re-take” by Kimigabuchi
