I liked the episode, it was nice. Nice as in it could have been a hole lot better. I mean comeon. WHat was up with the 2 extra flashbacks anyway, they already showed the part where Jiriaya gets smacked in the chest 4 episodes ago(Ithink). Personally if they were going to make an episode on christmas weekend they would atleast conclude the fight. It didn’t take this long in the manga, I am so serious. WHat was it 4 chapters, the fight lasting 2. This show has been on now for 1 year and it still hasn’t got back to the original Sasuke scene.

I agree with this. If fansubbing it’s not legal then companies can take legal actions against them, Naruto is uploaded to Youtube or not. After all if you see how many people download or get a copy of Naruto’s torrents all over the world you’ll realize that they’re MILLIONS, so there’s no point to stop pursuing fansubs just because their releases are not uploaded to Youtube. Seriously, Google do exists.
PD: Anyway there’s no Naruto nor Bleach till January 10th and I’m sure that’s another YHBT (You Have Been Trolled) announce. They’ve done this like 1.000.000 millon times and after all these years there’s still people who think they’re actually going to stop subbing. LOL Go to hell n00bs!
I agree Dattebayo is comprised of egotistical assholes, however they never claimed to “own” Naruto or Bleach. Of course what they do is illegal, just like anyone else who shares copyrighted material. Fansub groups still do it though because there is very little chance of being charged for it. However the more popular the anime (obviously Naruto falls into this category), the more likely that the copyright holders actually will pursue legal action. Yes there are millions of torrents being downloaded, but it’s the sites (veoh, youtube, etc) that stream the episodes that bring attention to the illegal sharing, and when you realize that all these streaming sites are originally getting their material from a single source (Dattebayo) that puts a big target on Dattebayo’s back if the copyright holders ever wanted to take legal action.
With anime not quite as popular as Naruto or Bleach there’s not really any risk with streaming, but with the popular ones just go download the torrent. This may just be another empty threat by Dattebayo (their site was back up today) but that doesn’t matter… despite being assholes, they do a good job with their subs and I’d hate to see them shut down.

Wow…. I feel that I’ve lost some brain cells after reading some of those comments. Alot of you people are stupid (not all). Anyways… shippuuden 42 will be aired on the 10th of… 2008, and 43 will be out on the 17th. Listen to me. 42 was originally going to air on the 3rd, but something happened and they pushed it back.
They won’t stop airing the series until they run out of manga, which it probably about… 50-60 episodes if not more. Plus factoring in chapters that will be released as the show continues tells the ones who can do math, that there won’t be any huge fillers for a long time. They’re following the manga to the closest detail and that’s why the episodes are so long and maybe a little uneventful. Suck it up, because you know that eventually, there’s going to be a massive amount of episodes that will please you all. If not, then I suggest you stop watching now and that way your “lives” won’t be waisted.
Sorry if you feel insulted, but I’m guessing alot of the people commenting with foul language and vulgarities are probably in the age range of…. oh lets say…. 11-15.
