i hope sasuke is after the three higher ups who set itachi up on that mission. especially the anbu leader
I don’t know why but I kind of felt…disappointed that Itachi was made out to be a good guy. I mean, all this time from the beginning of Naruto to now Sasuke’s been obsessed with killing Itachi mainly for destroying the entire clan (excluding himself). And then when he finally gets strong enough to defeat Itachi and exact revenge, you find out that he’s an undeniable good guy and that all this time he was betrayed, and that all the hatred he had was completely misplaced.
I wonder though…maybe in some way Itachi wanted revenge. I mean, he didn’t kill this guy (forgot his name dangit) and instead offered a compromise even though the guy knew what was going on. Then he keeps bestowing Sasuke with new techniques with that forehead tap thing, always provoking him to work harder and become stronger even to the point where he knew Sasuke would probably go to Orochimaru next and then eventually he’d be slain to keep Sasuke safe. I mean, why else would Itachi have that monster (again I forget the name…was it Susanoo?) to seal Orochimaru?
I just don’t understand why Itachi would keep someone who knew the truth alive if that person was capable of unveiling what they knew to Sasuke. Unless he wanted that to happen and he wanted revenge for all that happened to the Uchiha and to his little brother, and because of his illness he knew that Sasuke would probably be the one to do it.
