    KK i expected this to be alot better and not just go all out with arematsu so earlie, though it would be a combine with genjutsu and normal fight this sucks. Itachi holds so fucking much back that it scares me.

    Dude, this is far from the secound best fight. I would rather say the hokage battle was the secound, This TOTALLY SUCK manga was alot better :-] And his arematsu should be able to kill sasuke instantly, itachi just tries to make sasuke use orochimarus power and then die so sasuke never knows the truth <.< dude itachi became konoha anbu leader in the age og 12, and u can think even when kakashi was in the anbu, he was just a squad leader how fucking strong arent itachi, the illusion jutsu of mangekyou are impossible to breake without fighting another mangekyou. Itachi could kill sasuke in a instant -.-’

    This is pretty awesome fight buts it pretty much identical to the manga, and I always thought should of been more techniques and unarmed segments but the skillset of the two wouldnt really call for that.

    Man this fight pretty epic but something more epic is gonna happen which will blow your fuckign balls off if you have no idea about it

    Im agreeing with heartlessAngel on this, the Animation is hardly worth the wait the actually drawings in the Manga are waaay better

    im very dissapointed been waiting for this showdown for a while even the drawings of itachi are inconsistent im surprised Masashi Okayed this, thought this was gonna be epic not saturday morning stuff,
    the animation on the Sakura & chiyo vs. sasori was a million times better …

    That’s what happens when you watch the manga first your expectation is high.. then when you watch the anime bam it ruins it. i remember the fight did see all of it in manga so my expectation is low. But i believe the manga was better. yes you are right about that. mindnight, soul_slayer. Well i wonder if they will remake it to follow the manga like they are doing in FUll metal alchemist (the brother hood) people said the manga was better now they playing it and its cool. i wonder how much difference the naruto shippuuden anime is compared to the manga version for story line as well as fighting scene.

    I was really looking forward to the fight between sasuke and itachi, but I feel like we’ve all been let down. Like a lot of other people said, this fight should have been epic, but it wasn’t. I’m very disappointed.

    Agree with a dude ^.^ amatarasu looks fucked and the fighting was bad, better have a combination with genjutsu and normal because it would get more interresting and we get more easily confused, i’ve waited for this battle in over a year and this really dissapoints. The animation and the fighting both suck compared to sasori’s battle. And for those who have seen the manga they made it exactly the same, no more adds which they always do. In the manga when sasuke and naruto fought they made it alot better in the anime then the manga, i would say they made this battle alot bader, damn those guys who made this.

    Its ending quiet fast i thought this fight was gona drag out but oh well and ya it does sorta suck the fight scenes and u ppl damn well know itachi is like he kinda playing around with him think about it its like he was letting him c his blind spots and opening and itachi is like so perfect the manga was better anyways the fight scene was ok but since he wasnt as bad as everyone thought he was he was basically like im so ready to die just let me get rid of oorochimaru and then ill let u kill me wat can i say itachi-sama rocks and i believe the ending of the fight will be damn delicious……….im sure i made some errors so oh well i dont feel like proofreadings its not an essay ……….. pervy sage is gone still hurts to the heart

    Itachi is sick…he knows he dosen’t have much left…plus its obvious he goes easy on sasuke…if he really wanted his eyes why use a genjutsu ?

    sasuke is going to use the lightning to create a lightning style technique, and lightning has the speed of 1/1000 of a second, so it’s impossible to dodge, but Itachi will summon his ultimate last resort, Sasuno’o, which possesses the world greatest shield, and the worlds greatest blade, Orochimaru will come out of Sasuke and try to kill Itachi, but the blade will kill Orochimaru, sasuke will just stand there, seeing there’s nothing else up his sleeve that he do, then Itachi will go to get Sasuke’s eyes, but just as he touches his forehead, he falls over, dead

    Great episode, I guess we’ve all been looking forward to see this battle and so far, although most of us already know the moves and conclusion, its awesome, the animation is amazing you can see some details that aren’t normally present in the anime tv show. Really good one

    ok first of all i would like to say that this is better than manga, you must be think “this guy doesn’t know what his talking about” but i do… think about it for a sec.. i didn’t read the manga and i only watch the anime so wouldn’t be dissapointed.. and to all you ladies and gentleman that read the manga and was totally dissapointed, well too bad.. manga is cool but isn’t it better if your actually watching the characters mode and do there thing rather than reading and watching some lame ass black and white pictures… I just want to let you know that if you dont like the animation of naruto then stop watching it

    note: They could have atleast made the animation of Shippuden alot like Claymore or Hellsing Ultimate that would be awesome.

    NUMBER ONE THING: Itachi is gay.
    NUMBER TWO THING: Kisame got owned because his sword betray him, meaning he got dumped by the better chakra guy.
    NUMBER THREE THING: I can even began to realize why I am writing one and two but to all who read this stuff…if you have nothing better to do beyond high school than this then perhaps its time to move out of parents garage, attic or basement and getting a job in something you like such as animation-go to school of arts in san diego, go to technical school, do something with your life.

    The fights at the beginning of Naruto Shippuuden were amazing but then they sort of screwed it up as they went along. Heck, I think the battles from the original Naruto were so much better. But then again I don’t really remember about Naruto and its animation, I just remember them being awesome. Naruto vs Haku, Sasuke vs Gaara, Sarutobi vs Orochimaru, Gaara vs Kimimaro, and Sasuke vs Naruto were all breath taking when I first saw them many years ago. Now they try to make them look so cool that they end up doing the opposite.

    itachi was about 50% weaker than his usual self when he fought this last battle against sasuke. he gave the other half of his strength to naruto before he came to finish his business with his younger brother sasuke… plus, he intentionally gave up this fight for sasuke… itachi just wanted to give his remaining power to sasuke to scare madara away…sorry for the spoilers! >:)

    You guys need to remember that itachi threw the fight. He never wanted to beat sasuke only get him a different mangekyo sharingan than his and restore sasuke’s status in konoha by having sasuke kill him. The last part of his plan gets screwed over by madara though since sasuke ends up wanting to destroy everything.
