agree with woi .. filler my ass mental retarded child. what we did see is akatsuki leader and an akatsuki member that was jiraiyas student and we got to know why he travel around and naruto is the chosen one and so on
the funny thing on that episode is, that you will see everything again, a little later in the original story, BAD

hopefully they dont show it later on in the next episode and instead just skip it since they put it in this episode and next week it seems it’s time for jiraiya vs. pein

Well, if its a filler its a pretty decent one. Caus here we met pain in an early age, the kid that jiraya trained for three years, nagato. In the episode they claimed he died, but thats wrong. And we got to know naruto’s father. Maybe ppl guessed it or whatever, but we couldnt be certain before this point..
Everyone who thinks this is a filler it isn’t this was actually in the manga….And those kids are important….

I mean… I thought so pretty much day one, but figured that would be tooooooo obvious, and they di a real good job of not alluding to it much so far. Wow. Learned sometihng new. Surprised the manga-ites haven’t mentioned this alllll the time like they do other spoilers in the comments here.
I guess if they made it known before, no one would have watched the show. You’d expect Naruto to become great by default, and he’d have no contrast to Sasuke or any of the other ninjas his age with real family backgrounds.
Cool how he an Pein look the same. SO what did orange haired dude to to Nagato, the one who had the Rinnegan? Oh well. I’ll find out eventually.
these two episode was good and like most pplz already say it that we know lots more information. also some of you guys say read the manga and know this info already. well not everybody read the manga so yeah. and who ever said this eps suck or stupid, i think too bad for you guys anyway since that’s your opinion and you watched the ep. this is for the one who said he/she was 8, i think anime doesnt limit to a certain age that can watch it, especially naruto and some other one. the older we are the more type of animre we can watch so go back and wait for the next ep with out saying something stupid.

though I think it is evil to develop pervy sage’s character right before he dies 
now Imma really miss him! I also can’t wait to see naruto’s reaction to the death of jirayra… Im soo glad that they showed naruto’s mom I soo wanted to see what she looked like 
where is she? I can’t wait to find out more about naruto’s past! sooo intereasting! and when will he find out about his dad?! that will be soo cool to watch! haha i wander what his reaction will be

Dont you just love it when people come in ruining the anime with spoilers, yes i have read the manga but thats not the point lots of others havent.
I think the way they did the episode was poor too would have been much more dramatic to see it all later when jiraya actually starts fighting pein rather than in some mini filler ark.
The thing is this is one of those episode that has element of a real manga in it with filler portions to round it out. Most of bit of his traveling i believes wasn’t in the original one.. but with all those filler portion we got some real juicy meat.. It isn’t the first time they done this. Which is make it better than you standard variety filler like the one with the crystal style user.
So if Naruto is the 4th’s son WHY THE FUCK did naruto get the shaft all throughout his childhood if his father was a town hero. I mean Sasuke’s whole clan gets wiped out and he becomes an emo child, with a detestable attitude and he is reared as a genius AND his elder brother did nothing but bring tragedy and shame to the town. So, solely because naruto burdened the spirit of the kyubi he is a negative element among society? That’s fucking retarded!!!!

In Japan Naruto is only popular with 10 year old boys. If you went to Japan and asked the average person on the street about Naruto they wouldn’t know what the hell you were talking about. If they did it would only be because their little brother or son watches it. In America the audience consists of all ages.

then goes after danzou
pain destroys half konoha but naruto talks him into being good.
tobi = uchiha madara.
danzou has the sharingan.
gaara fights sasuke and sasuke runs after danzou.

Also Im kinda confused on da character Pain/Pein.. Is he Yahiko? or Nagato? or a dead Yahiko corps controled by Nagato? I heard Yahiko was killed by Hanzou
First off the reason naruto was treated as he was, is because all the adults knew he had the 9-tails in him but did not know he was the 4th’s son. It was kept secret for many reasons, one the 4th had many enemies and also the tragic deaths of his parents would bring alot of pain. Also, I’m not sure but I think the 4th also requested it be kept a secret to either give naruto a normal life or because he felt so guilty sealing the 9-tails in his own son.

@Kenpachi: Pain/Pein is Nagato and he uses Yahiko’s corpse as his main “puppet”(his corpse puppets are special) because Yahiko was forced to sacrifice himself to save the other two so Nagato uses his corpse so that Yahiko can fufil his dream of changing the world even though hes dead

Wow this and episode 127 actually had lots of meaning to it, all about Jiraiya and how everything starts I can only explain to this much there is way more meaning if you are up to date with the manga.
