    this anime is reminding me more and more of an old robot series. Robotech something. i’ll give this anime points for making an old idea look new but i won’t give them anything for originality -_-

    ya this is Robotech. just seems to be set in a different time after the first one mmmm.

    Uh, no, Robotech was partially based off of the original Macross movie.

    Robotech=Macross. The original series’ name was changed when the USA company bought the rights because they thought Macross sounded too Japanese or something. Things have changed a lot since those days.
