WOW WHAT AN AMAZING EPISODE, I LOVE HOW THEY ALL FIND RESOLVE IN THE MIDST OF DESPAIR AND GIVE IT EVERYTHING THEY’VE GOT, CLICHE OR NOT. AND THE HERO GOING BESERK TO REVEAL TRUE POWER IS MORE THAN I HAD HOPED FOR. SOME COMPLAIN ABOUT THE HERO SEEMING WEAK MUCH OF THE TIME BUT THAT JUST MAKES HIM SHINE THAT MUCH BRIGHTER IN THE END. IN MY OPINION THIS HAS TURNED INTO A TRULY GREAT ANIME.
Though this series is cliche it is still a good series.
Corey: The reason people get onto you about your complaining is the fact you have been doing it through out the entire series. If you didn’t like it in the beginning and the middle why even bother finishing the series. Go watch something else you enjoy and let us “noobs” enjoy our cliche anime that is entertaining in it’s own right even though predictable.
Gah… what a copout. Kizaki is a Linebarrel factor, just like Hayase, so she can’t die unless Linebarrel dies. Of course she’ll come back to life in the final episode, and they’ll both kick hillbilly cowboy ass.
Cash and everyone else who has stated this, a Machina’s Factor CAN die. Return to the episode with Kato-Kikan took over all of Juda’s Machine but Line Barrel. There was a conversation stating the only way of getting new pilots is to kill the Factors. There is a limit to how much damage a Machina can heal proportional to it’s D.S.O.I.L abilities. Good example is how long it took Yajima’s Machina to restore him. Took a couple of months before his return, and he didn’t take too much damage compared to other characters with Machina with stronger D.S.O.I.L drives. Further more, because of Emi’s weaker body, she can’t take advantage of all of Linebarrel’s abilities. This will probably including healing of it’s Factor. On top of that Kouichi became the true chosen Factor for Linebarrel, so Linebarrel doesn’t have to protect/heal Emi.
Anyways, I doubt she is dead myself. They’ll pull the age old “The lover survives by some miracle” trick, but it’s all worth it. This anime may not be Gundam 00 good, but it is still good nonetheless. It gets a 8 out of 10 for me. An above average anime.
