It was a great anime but i got to admit the ending where he grows old has kids and grandchildren then dies is a sucky ending, but then again this anime wasn’t exactly supposed to have one of those everyone wins happy endings.

what a shitty way to end things i was hoping kuro would come back and live with keita again or something like that , but instead keita dies of old age and he never saw kuro again IT SUCKS !! ep 22 should be the ending

Gosh are people this dense? It was more of a OVA then an actually episode (until the end). This episode tied up so lose ends and gave other character’s perspectives to certain situations. Also it wasn’t really a sad ending, since keita took the curse with him when he died, kuro doesn’t have to stay in the holy land. Because the main character dies, doesn’t have to make it a crappy or sad ending. And keita and kuro end up seeing each other again is very bleh, because it’s been done before. I really like the way it ended, very good anime. I give it 9/10.
I think its a well tied up ending with a fast recap
Not sure why so many people dislike the ending, maybe they just wanted it to continue or be somewhat different ending like masagame went berserk and obliterate everyone as a Classic ending :O
ya just go to about 22 min and watch from there, unless you want a recap on the whole series. ending wasnt bad they just needed to put more into it instead of doing the whole “deleted scenes/story patchup”.
Okay now. why is it that in every anime I wastch at the end the main guy character always ends up with the big tittied girl? I mean seriously now. I mean at least 9 out of 10 times it happeneds. It is getting kind of old with that.
He is normal human, shortlife span, died peacefully…
