   The Reason that Ippo goes to an Open Guard is to show that he is not afraid of Nao’s power. Ippo dose it purposly to phyic out Nao. This stance is called a Guts Pose, it is basiclly an intimidation tactic.

    There are crazy rumors going around that the some US producer is trying to make a movie out of Ippo but calling it by a different name. Also it is going to be played by a Caucasian person like they did with Goku off of Dragonballz. Do you guys know if there is some truth to this. I hope not I will be pissed if it is true.

    what a wonderful series, it hurts that Nao couldn’t talk to Ippo in the end and those idiots ruined it.

    it’s a really great anime. wish that all that they’ve shown in the manga series will be shown in tv too..

    amazing anime, only thing i hate is that fact that takamura is always right where as aoki and kimura are always wrong when watching a boxing match

    i got kind of a deja vu when geromichi got scared of makounouchi and thought his punches didn’t hurt him. Does anybody know where that came from? I think it was from makounouichi’s fight against date. could that be true?
