Gundam Unicorn to Be 6 50-Minute OVAs

The Gundam Big Expo event in Tokyo and the official website for the anime adaptation of the Gundam Unicorn novels have confirmed on Friday that the anime will launch in the spring of 2010 in the form of six original video anime volumes of 50 minutes each. The anime will be presented on Blu-ray Disc and DVD, shown at events, distributed through unspecified means, and exhibited overseas.
The original Gundam Unicorn novels are set in the same Universal Century (UC) timeline as Yoshiyuki Tomino and Sunrise’s first Mobile Suit Gundam science-fiction television anime series and its sequels. Fukui finished serializing the novel version in the August issue of Kadokawa Shoten’s Monthly Shonen Ace magazine in June. The final two compiled book volumes, #9 and #10, will ship in Japan on Monday.
Novelist Harutoshi Fukui had already confirmed in an interview on Wednesday that the first anime episode will incorporate material from the first two novel volumes. Although Fukui said that the anime will be a “reconstruction” with new ideas developed between himself scriptwriter Yasuyuki Muto (Afro Samurai: Resurrection, Le Chevalier D’Eon, Persona -trinity soul-), he emphasizes that it is faithful to his original work.

This gundamn is quite powerful almost reach on G-Gundam rank. That unicorn can powerup by releasing the heat and that horn it split and turn into V atenna. Is really awesome
The horn splits into a standard Gundam V Antenna in NT-D (NewType Destroy) mode.
It is the only known mech that can control any and all newtype based OS. It is able to control Fins, Funnels, Bits, etc of enemy mecha. It’s not to be taken lightly.
Don’t know much about this series, but hurray for more Gundam. The only thing that I can say about this is that Kyosuke Nanbu’s Alteisen from Super Robot Wars pulls off the horn in a much manlier way.
i just ope that its not old style animation like in the previews ive seen on the internet, i reckon its not gonna be as good as 00, seed or zeta but it may surprise us and be the best series ever who knows XD but anyways its gundam so its gonna be good but is it not gonna be shown online or summin? is it gonna be done like hellsign ultimate? cause if so its gonna be sucky having to wait ages for each one to come out
i’m going to wait before putting up a serious comment because the serie isn’t out yet but i think it won’t be so good, there are only 2 really good gundam series and they are gundam 00 & gundam wing ofcourse
well the time line is based on the first gundam series so no complain there

Ok, first thing I don’t like is the 6 episodes with 50min each…
Second the design, instead of the usual V sign a horn, only Turn A Gundam was worse (mustache…)
Third, the gundam shifts its armour when it goes into rampage mode? doesn’t really sound that great…
Wait… What!!!! 6 50 min episodes? God dang it, just keep it as a 13-26-39 episode show pls.
Btw, Dude… it the fact is that it suppose to look like a GM to hide it selve. When it enters Rampage/Rage mode it’s Unicorn splits and it turns into a kick as gundam. For Christ sake search for it and that’ll say it all.

Almost all the comments here on this page are exactly what is wrong with Gundam.
