Right, That was an awesome episode. They keep getting better with each one! Allelluyah was awesome and he finally got through to mary at the last second. Great Drama material!
Looks like I was right about Lyle. at least I think so. I won’t know for sure until later, but it looks like he’s got his own agenda and he’s not shy of using it. It also looks like he’s not nearly as good as his brother. Could it be blamed on inexperience or does he not have the heart of a gundam pilot? maybe both. i’m not sure, but we won’t know till later. still great material and they’re all interesting!
P.S. was I mistaken or was Lyle sneaking a kiss on Feldt in the previews? lol even more drama there! Can’t wait for the next episode! This series is great!

Dynames never used Trans Am because
1. he was injured. Remember he got injured before they discovered trans am
2. Dynames is a sniping unit. The other gundams were close combat mobile suits. Dynames was (tactically speaking) not a close combat unit. (though lockon broke his own rule)
3. I doubt Lockon was thinking about Trans AM while he was obsessed with killing Sarches. In the beginning, he was outfitted with the Mobile Arms which probably wouldn’t mesh well with Trans AM. and after breaking away from the Mobile Arms, he was more interested in beating Sarches with his own strength. (again, i personally don’t think he was thinking about Trans-AM)
Really, the fact that he accomplished so much WITHOUT Trans-AM speaks MORE for Neil Dylandy.

Agreed that, the blonde (sorry forgot her name) is a Pilot. And will end up being some sort of Super Solider type crap. And that eventually Sanji will become a Gundam Pilots, whos tears of blood will kill everything and anything, because he is so imo. The only thing that keeps this show alive atm, since the story is whack is Exia. But still (In the first season he had multiple Solar furnaces and yet…. Ya kinda gay that its like now all of a sudden its bad arse, but I guess its hard to measure up to Geass.)

It’s pretty sad and funny that they have him locked in a padded room. Maybe now that Hallellujah can change into his new clothes, they can give Saji his very own straight Jacket next.

Sanji, I hope DOES NOT BECOME a Gundam Pilot, for multiple reasons, one no combat, two too emotional to have such power… and its Sanji…….
But idk its hard to tell I just know that I DO NOT like that the Blonde Chick became a Pilot at all, Cause she is going to seek revenge most likely and fight against the Gundams then realize that they are good and her and Sanji end up sacrifice themselves for the Gundams or something gay like that, but who knows the anime is still good for watching, but its starting to fade from an anime to look forward to. But again this is my opinion, which we are all Allowed for opinions. Anyhow back to topic!

I love how you guys are all screaming at lelouch saying hes immature but ur ready to fight with him over a show. Its the little things that hurt this show the most imo. I mean alright chick drops gun. Dude should have just climbed into his gundam and it woulda made sense. Instead they have 3 highly trained armed gunman show up and miss him like 12 times with 10 feet between them. WTF is that!? Why can’t any armed forces in anime or any movie for that case hit a fucking target!!! Thats soo stupid. They should have just left the other three guys out and let him escape while she had a brain fart. Oh well shows story kinda sucks too. Thats my comment on gundam. Got a problem then rant about it but i wont be back to check.
Actually the only case i can think of where a guy dodges gun fire and it makes sense is suzaku, due to his “live on command.” Unfortinutly he kinda dodges bullets before that too but atleast thats from a turret and not armed guards.
lol good point about armed men missing all the time. But then, hey, look at G.I.Joe. How many times did they manage to miss. of course, with G.I.Joe you also had them fighting men who wore giant snakes on their shoulders, a dude with like 25 eyes and another guy with a metal face. And dare I say it, wasn’t there a hermaphrodite or two in the bad guy’s team also?
so yeah, put all that together, and two military organizations completely missing their targets isn’t all that far fetched. Back on subject, As far as Gundam is concerned, there’s no excuse except for Plot device. I totally see your point but at the same time, the fact that he went emotional is a thematic element that makes it more interesting for some viewers. People want to see the cause and effect of action and reaction. With everything happening outside that little drama bubble, sure it doesn’t make sense. but some people love it all the same.
and i’m not too thrilled about Louise being a mobile suit pilot either. Who knows, maybe she’ll surprise us… somehow… I also agree I don’t want to see Saji in a mobile suit either but again, maybe he’ll surprise us. Time will tell.
I’m simply plain confused from this second season, nothing makes sense except for the new Gundam they created.

1. how noriega lee escaped celestial being
2. what happened to setsuna after the first season ended
3. where the heck lyle came from, neil never mentioned him only his sister Amy
4. the whole super soldier thing
5. how lasse didn’t die
6. why marie and the colonel were living together in the first episode of the second season
7. what A-laws is
8. if Tieria has a definite gender
9. and why setsuna and marina seem so connected
oh yeah, i also don’t get how louise became a soldier
So far from the Gundam Seasons that I have seen, 00 and Wing, Gundam Users have pre-reqs. Also its like the concept once you set the rules dont change them type of thing, otherwise it all goes down the tube, no matter what type of spin is thrown on it.
Thats why Code Geass was a success, but off from perfect ending. And it getting the title of a Master Piece, because like most things, people tend to cave in and butcher it.

1. It can be assumed once the battle was over and the original Ptolomy was destroyed, the various factions thought the Celestial Being ship and all those inside were destroyed with it.
2. They don’t go into detail about what happened to Setsuna. We may find out what he’s been doing the past four years but we know he’s kept a low profile since Celestial Being couldn’t find him till season 2. We also know, somehow he found out about Lyle Dylandy. We also know he’s been using the heavily damaged Exia to get from place to place.
3. If you watch the first season, you’ll see Lyle make a short appearance when Neil is placing flowers by his family’s grave. and Neil also makes reference to his brother a few times, the main instance being in Episode 23 of season one.
4. The super soldier program is explained loosely in season 1. around the first round of episodes. you should check them out. it’s pretty good.
5. Lasse was in the mobile armor ship and though it was damaged, it was never verified that he was killed. he either ejected or found some other way to survive. The scar he has in season 2 is a loose reference that he didn’t escape completely unscathed.
6. Well, considering Marie and the colonel had a very close relationship in season 1 and considering Marie is the military’s super soldier, living with him was probably the closest connection towards humanity that she could find. not to mention I doubt she has too many friends.
7. A-Laws is the organization created to quell any forces that oppose the unified government that was formed at the end of Season 1. Unfortunately, the Unified Government has ruled the rest of the world with an iron fist using the energy elevator as colateral to garner loyalty. The A-Laws have in effect become their extermination squad for all those who don’t like how they run things.
8. I don’t think they will ever fully explain Tierea’s gender. But I do think they will go in further detail about his origins.
9. Setsuna and Marina were both born in a region fueled by strife and misery. Though they were bred in two entirely different ways, they were both forced to see the horrors of war and were forced to make the best choices they could to try to counter that destruction. They are like opposite sides of the same coin. While Setsuna fights, Marina strives to bring peace. This is why she can cry and he can’t. They compliment each other that way.
These are loose answers and I hope they help clear up some of your confusion.
BTW: Joker, good point with the New Lockon. I’m not sure how loyal he will be in the end though. Remember, Celestial Being is about making enemies. They want to end war by being the main arbiters of conflict. That means, eventually they may make enemies with the Kataran forces as well. With that said, Lyle’s loyalty will be put to the test and when that time comes, who knows what choice he’ll make?
^^ ah but thats the beauty of it, they dont bother with the trifling detals and go so deep into a persons history, they focus on the important stuff like Fighting and Blowing stuff up! This is why i watch Gundam!

ill have a theory, marina wont join celestial being, but saji will, but he will never ever pilot a gundam, and respect to lockon, i think hes whit kataron and joined celestial being to gain power and help kataron whit their rebellion, but i think kataron and celestial being will do some missions together but they will not join paths, theres more of gundam hy¡istory to come, but we will have to wait probably to next year to knoo, cause this is a season when they always pospose teir episodes (in all animes, specially naruto), cuase they have many celebrations like us, and just one more thing about this episode

This episode was great! The storyline of this anime has a great main plot and many intriguing subplots that add to the overall story. Better even than the first half of Death Note! Plus the animation style is clean and beautiful like Macross Zero - so there are few if any faults.
I think Lockon’s TransAm will be rapid-auto-headshot with perfect accuracy, OGC style; possibly with akimbo sniper rifles!

Like i said before, Gundam series always start of slow and then pick up after a few episodes (just gotta give it time)… But unfortunalty Code Geass is a better show (I am a major Gundam fan non-the-less).

Knight of Zero - code geass a better show? lol i still cant believe they gave that uber hyped trainwreck of a second season a kobe animation award. goro taniguchi deserves a kick in the nuts (also put into consideration everything else he has contributed to has been forgettable haha) even though the second season has barely begun, code geass is nowhere near comparable to gundam 00. seiji mizushima is actually a talented director. rest in peace code geass. you wont be missed

it didn’t just get the award for the mecha buts story and charecters that pulled everything from the ideas of animation together to make 1 grand idea that was very different then the previace ones in the past. Gundam 00 and its predicesors are great but it misses somethings that are unique to Code Geass as I am also a fan of Gundam but not as much as to Code Geass. I don’t say this as some flamer who likes his show a little bit better then this one, but because you ignore its greatest qualities that make it so good as a show, the entertainment, idea, a sci-fi, the mechs, the fights, the charecters, and the charecter Lelouch that sacrificed everything for the family he had left and gave everthing including his life for her well being and the dream that all want and non succed but he did in the animation world which are actions that would in a sence, and figurative term as Jesus to sacrifice himself for humanity. If you do spit on this then you should rethink your standing, i say this as a fan, a philosapher (pardon my spelling) and one with experience in stories, anime and manga to tell you this and all that care to read my small words.

p.s to the comments about how you do not understand how people can shot and shot and shot and miss the target 98% of the time? well that is called fantasy not reality, it has been in existence since story telling and has formed in many cartoons, anime, mandga, and comics , to hollywood and ect. it was never really given a name until after star wars came out in the 70s and it was then on refered to as the “storm trooper effect” definition meaning no matter how much you shoot you will almost always never hit your target.(hence the 98% and almost always). thats all i wantted to say

Yea I vote Code Geass over Gundam. Though every episode ended with a strange or completely stupid twist that may become pointless in the overall story (not all of em just some), it made the show hard to predict at first and exciting. The overall story was just awesome but it seemed rushed because it came with so much excess content.
Gundam on the other hand has a cool concept and at times a decent story but its overall display is very lacking. It just seems like a younger audience to me, though I’ve heard they use rather difficult to translate words in gundam compared to most anime. I’m sure someone will correct that last statement if it’s wrong.
