Quite good ending, even though it seems to me like they could have made much more episodes in this storyline.
Maybe they haven´t made more because of the traditional 50 episodes(limit) which occur in most Gundam series (Wing has 52 I believe)

when there was a convention with all the worldly people, the new EF president, the Katharon, I noticed as well someone who stood out in the group that clapped in the back whom resemble a Innovades(yes, that’s what they are truly called as according to Tieria.)
I didn’t really understand about that planet being show in the end, but to assume it had to do with possibly the movie coming out later on?
This series ending was very very much appealing, it was very well executed.
You would think in the end, the battle is Ribbon’s Gundam v. Double 0 Raiser. I think the last battle was very well played
as many of you know/not know, Ribbon’s voice actor was the same as the original first UC Gundam series’ Amuro Ray.
So the fact that 0 Gundam end up being piloted by him is no surprise, considering how 0 Gundam resemble so much like the original RX-78.
First of all.Of course it was the best battle in season 2.All the bullshit they put us through,was to save money for the budget,just for this episode. Another thing,Ribbons and Soran should not have been able to transfer their drives,considering they need(as shown in 00f and 00p)they need machinery to do it,and it takes time for the drives to become synched. They completely nullified any claims that gundam 00 was the gundam that would change the world.He didnt even defeat ribbons with it.Which makes another frown from me,seeing a Heero Yuy immatator,fight *drak*amuro ray,in the rx78 poser.That mocks everything gundam has been. Jaitsizzle,seed was shit,after Yamato got aim bot,every character was nerfed,just for the sake of making jesus yamato better. The screen time for Hallalujah was disgusting all season,and this ep added insult to injury.The good thing about this ep,was colusar getting married,and even then,what excatly were the remainging coup forces doing while all this shit was taking place?The moive will not attone for the mistakes of this super robot* ,yes i said it,super robot series.It had so much potential in season 1,but sunrise has now fucked over another great gundam show,and the only good thing about this ending,are the U.C O.V.A’S and Fullmetal ALchemists return. Did nobody notice the bring/divine, anew/revive and ribons/healing clones in the epilogue the red one was in when marina was addressing the nation then the blue one was when the new earth sphere federation president was anouncing that A-laws is over then the green one was looking up at ptolomy when marina looked up as well. Also did anybody see the shiny green asteroids orbiting jupiter celestial being army:)

I laughed out loud when I saw Colasour. It seems the dude really is immortal. Exia vs. 0-Gundam was awesome, combined with Hallelujah’s return WITHOUT needing the 00-Raiser’s Trans-Am… BEST ENDING EVER.
I preferred this series to SEED myself, but that’s just my opinion. I can’t wait for the movie!

that has got to be the most epic ending ever… I love how they made it seem like Setsuna died and then bam, he was alive. I was like FREK YEAH!!!! And Allelujah opened so many cans of whupass on that innovator bitch. Same goes for Lyle. Those suckers stood zero chance against Celestial Being without veda.
Oh, and to the person who said it was supposed to be the Raiser to change the world, yet it didn’t since it did not defeat Ribbons; you are wrong. Raiser did change the world. Rather, contributed to it greatly. Do you not think every person on that battle field learned something very valuable when Raiser went into burst mode?
Everyone was able to understand each other and move past their anger and hate. They were able to forgive one another. Then those people showed the world the truth of what transpired and taught them how to understand one another as well.
So no, the whole Exia vs the original gundam wasn’t a debunk of the series. Like someone else said, the drives they used originally belonged to those two gundams as well. So it wouldn’t take time to sync them up either. Plus, the machinery was used in areas with high gravity. They were in the vacuum of space. So long as they moved their suits close together upon release, they could have attached them themselves. Hell, for all we know, the burners could have thrusters on them to suit this purpose if the need arises. Again, like an above poster said, Nyle sent his burner back to Celestial Being after busting up his gundam in the first season.

wow, this was a great two seasons. i wonder whats next for us besides the movie.
Whats the song’s name where Cherudim is kicking innovator ass? It’s the song where setsuna said “we will change in order to create the future” and trans am burst went crazy!! That was one of the sweetest parts. That song made it even cooler.
Man, what a final-turn-off. I had in my mind since ‘Gene-1′ (that the Katharon people call him as) a.k.a. the new Lockon Stratos was some type of a clone (basing it at ‘gene’) of Klaus (because Klaus really does resemble Lockon brothers except for the hairstyle), who is actually the REAL brother of Neil Dylandy, Lyle Dylandy; but now the series has come to an end, one could guess that ‘Gene-1′ was nothing more than a Code Name behind another Code Name (new Lockon Stratos).
Marina-hime’s ceremony held legions of people, I found one of the displayed audiences resemble a member of the Gaga Kamikaze suicide squad of Ribbons Almark’s. There also was someone resembling Anew Returner at the Earth Sphere government ceremony. Those characters of resemblance had nothing special to it than replays of recycled character animations.
I never seen a female character who was/became/promoted to a General on any of the Gundam series, ever. No offense, just thought of wonder.

OMG!!!!!! That was by far one of the most satisfying anime endings I have ever witnessed! Thank goodness that they let you know that they are going to make a 00 Gundam movie. THank goodness that they are going to make it! If they weren’t and they ended it like this I would be extremely pissed off.
Ok. SO this episode was EPIC. I mean EPIC!!! It was really good. Ribbons’ Gundam was freaking cool as fuck! 00 Riaser being able to Quantize was fucking cool!. Seeing Arios and Cheredium kick ass when they weren’t at full capacity was TIGHT!!! 0 Gundam VS Exia was pretty tight, I liked that a lot!!! Really cool gundam battles.
OK, so obviously Jupiter is gonna play an extremely large role when the movies come out. The 3 clones of the Inovators are probably Tiera. Tiera is trying to watch whats going on on Earth from the peoples perspective, thats what I’m hoping at least.
Aeolia’s plan was to unify Earth and such just in case aliens come in the future. Its Pretty obvious that Aeolia discovered the aliens when he went to Jupiter and the aliens obviously saw that it was chaos on earth because the oil was gone and people were trying to build the solar energy things that are around earth. So Aeolia was given the solar furnaces but was told that they take X amount of years to charge and such and that he could only use them when they were done. Aeolia agreed to this and the supposed aliens said that they will show them selves when the world was stable. So I’m guessing that the Inovators are aliens of some sort, but were derived from humans and that Veda was created by the aliens and given to Aeolia, cause there is no way that a human would be able to create such a thing that is capable of “ghost” to travel from body to body.
I’m also guessing that those 4 green stars around Jupiter are the messengers from the aliens on Jupiter now that the world is stable. But it could also be Rogue Inovators/Aliens from the planet to take control of earth now that earth no longer has a strong military force..
All and All I can’t for the 00 Gundam movie to come out!!! 2010 is when I graduate, so I can look for that too!!!…

i never really fully understood “veda”. i mean, i know what it is basicly, but it keeps being the core of wierd shit, like season one celestial beings’ gundams stopped working after veda was hijacked. I dont know, they werent really clear how veda was responsible for so much and what EXACTLY it was

This i have to say, is one of the best anime endings ever. the only other anime ending i could think of that might be code geass r2. I really thought setsuna was dead for a while
I disagree with anyone that said that this is better then SEED. SEED is a much better storyline that told everyone’s story and gave them all some good airtime.

That was a great ending to the series. Ok if you’ll payed attention to the series, Aeolia got the furnaces from Jupiter. Lol and to the previous comment aliens?? Also there will not be a new season. They are going to replace this show with the new FMA! (Full Metal Alchemist) which will closely follow the manga this time.

This is kind of sad. No more Gundam 00. However, great ending! Although I wanted Setsuna to completely destroy. Not slightly win that pussy battle. Completely, utterly destroy like a Gundam Seed ending or something.
The materials used to create the original burners are from Jupiter, but Aeola did design them himself. Innovades aren’t aliens. They are the next step from Innovators that were created artificially, instead of being made naturally, like Setsuna.
Aliens were hinted at being what humanity must face in the future, and if they (humanity) couldn’t understand themselves, then an all out war would break out between them and the aliens when they did eventually meet. More than likely, the movie will touch up on this.
i was hoping that there will be a season 3 but i guess this is the end of this anime!! so sad!! hope they create another season or another gundam 00. this anime is GREAT!!

1) if you watched season 1, you will know why the planet jupiter is involved with Celestial Being.
2)Reason being that a research team was sent to Jupiter for some scientific study on something.
3) That research led to the invention of GN Drives. Unfortunately, the VERY original GN Drives are the fake GN Drives, but the guys who made it found out that it was harmful to the human body, so they needed a filtration system for the particle.
4)That filtration system can only be manufactured with materials OR through the environment found in Jupiter.
5)That is why, REAL GN Drives that gives out greenish particles are in limited quantity.
6)If you think what i said is crap, refer to Gundam 00 Season 1. The part whereby Billy and graham(mr bushido) lost one of their most favored person – a professor of some kind to the Thrones.And the Thrones said that, the reason why he must die is because he came so close to finding out the entire secret behind Celestial Being. afterwhich, All information regarding it was lost.
and 7) the 4 green lights surrounding Jupiter are the original Gundams – Exia, Dynames, Kyrios, Virtue.
0 Gundam was the first gundam in this series. It was merely just a test subject for the effects of the GN Drive.
So, ANYONE who sits in 00 Gundam will become a true innovator.

After watching it another time I start to think. Celestial Being = Some type of thing or person from the stars or from some where else. I guess you could say aliens. I can’t get the idea out of my head that Jupiter has some type of alien or extraterestial. Just because Aeolia is said to have designed the furnaces doesn’t mean he didn’t get help from Jupiter of some sort.
I noticed that Billy was creating something in that little hologram ball with Bushido in the back ground. I think that Machine that Billy was creating was the GaGa drones or maybe Bushido’s new gundam. There are a lot of answers that are hopefully gonna be answered when the movie comes out or if they have another season… most likely in the movie it will be answered…
Ribbons pilots the Reborn gundam with twin tau drives <- copycat nub shoulda made it a triple drive while he was at it.

The ending rocks, and 00 is really one of those “You gotta stick to the story or you will be lost” kinda thing…..

But I think Celestial Being here could mean more than just the organization itself.
Think about it. This feeling of an ending is very much similar to Code geass Ending. It will leave you a cliffhanger of ideas that you will think over and over and over again.

I believe that in the end, when Exia was facing off O Gundam, he was somewhat using a Trans-AM burst. How can you guess that? The GN Drive suddenly emerges a large amount of particle, and some sort of release was allowed, and then you see that sudden burst of GN Drive (to those who thought this was “obvious,” relax cause it’s only a explanation for that scene’s depiction.)
Well…just now when I thought about it.
THOUGH we all are skeptic about the fact that “WHY IS THERE A INNOVATOR/INNOVADE in the during xxxx scene?$##$%@#$%”
I’m going to propose an rational explanation for that.
Remember how during 1-2 episodes prior to finale? When Tieria start explaining about who the innovators really is?
Innovators are suppose to be known as Innovades, existence that’s modeled after genuine innovator that the human will become. They are, as according to Tieria, suppose to guide mankind toward the path of achieving “innovation.” Innovators are to COEXIST with human in order to achieve that matter.
My point that that small paragraph about innovators is, the innovades that we saw in the end might not be the bad guys they are portrayed throughout this series, rather maybe they are now coexisting with human in peace, and possibly achieving that “coexist to guide human down a better future” type of thing.
But who knows, this is what I thought was rational, or they could be giving into people’s hypocrisy/demand into that “OMG! these guy are evil!”

To me, ending it with Exia and 0 Gundam was perfect. No fancy super duper hyper move thingy They battled it out with double drives, and then finished it will single. Ribbons gt his original drive and suit, and Setsune got his. Setsuna won, priving it’s not about Double 0 Raiser, but about Setsuna being superior to Ribbons.
I also loved Lockons kill. 1 seco Trans AM! Hahahaha
I’m glass Patrick was alive. Poor guy. Assed out the whole series. Plus it take someone like him to bang the crap out of stiff assed Kati Manequinn.
Graham goes back to his bisexual Professor Katagiri, and thankfully Setsuna gets to end up with Feldt ^_^. Looks like Katagiri is tryig to make his own double-drive gundam like those kamikaze ones.
This was one of the best endings ever! No disppointment like the end of Gundam Seed Destiny (which had two endings due to shit!)
You can’t compare this ending to the Code Geass one to be honest.
The gundam 00 seasons were both awesome, but this ending lacks something .. empty talk by saji gayroad, almost everyone alive, to big plot.
I don’t think a 3rd season will come out, jupiter and the big light are probably for the gundam movie tho.
code geass is the best robot fighting so far. gundam is made me sick, with naked guy floating around in space.

i like how 0 Gundam looked like the original main character gundam from the very first show; but i guess the company really wants to get away from the fame of that show; i mean the whole theme was about changing yourself to move on, plus isn’t it kinda symbolic that that 0 gundam, that looks o so much like the original of original gundams, is killed at the end? is anyone else seeing this connection? maybe its just me
anyways good show, liked Code Geass more, but this will still be missed

This was by far the best Gundam series yet. I am so sad it has come to an end but what an epic ending to go out on. The movie should be awesome can’t wait for it. PMFLOOD1 YOU ARE THE MAN!! Thank you for bringing us such good series like this. I look forward to the next Gundam series.
@Thead’s post WAY up there: Yes, Code Geass had probably the best ending ever. Didn’t really like the way the first season ended though. Funny enough I watched most of the second season before actually watching the first.

I was a little disappointed. I guess I just really wanted this series to match up with Code Geass’ ending. Anyways I enjoyed the first season a lot better, and I’m looking forward to the movie that’s coming out.

This might have been the best Gundam series besides Wing. I watched like couple of episodes of Seed and I couldn’t hang on to it. It lost my interest for some reason. I just loved when Allelujah/Hallelujah totally kicked that bitch ass innovators ass. Wait so, Allelujah is not part of Celestial Being anymore? Towards the end, he was not with other crew members. Anyway, it is awesome how the plot fits nicely in the end. Can’t wait for the MOVIE!!!!

I hate how no one seems to give credit to Tieria! If he hadn’t taken back Veda, the Innovades would still be kicking the Meisters’ asses around! People were almost crying over Anew, yet no one says anything about a character that’s been totally badass the entire series.
At the very least, Regene Regetta should have been kept alive so I can have something pretty to look at in th 2010 movie.
The ending was ok, but nothing special. But maybe that’s because there were a lot of holes in the story, and because they killed Neil. I have high hopes for the movie though,so it better be worth the wait!
