Glad Setsuna does not need that wimp Saji to use the 00 Raiser. He is too much of a wild card. Looks like the altered humans, aka the inhuman Innovators, can’t hold a candle to Setsuna.

Sorry to say but the Wing Zero isnt as spectacular as we all remember it to be. Sure it had the most firepower and arguably the best pilot of its series but when you compare it to ANY of the 00 gundams it pales in comparison. either way though gundam=Love.

this episode was really good. the head on the back of seravee is just apart of its design. it shows its face to put out more GN particles for GN field, power shot, etc.
the plates are the shield bits for cherudium.

Nope, 00 would take down wing without a challenge. It doesnt matter how good your reaction times are if its so fast you cant even see it. Look at episode 12. It can make an illusion or something. I think the best pilot in all of the Gundam multiverse would have to be Yamato Kira, pilot of the Strike Freedom. Of all the things he could have achieve easily, he took the high and most difficult road. Instead of killing his opponents outright, he disable all their machines, leaving the pilots a way to escape.
The most irritating character, in my opinion, has to be the wimp Saji Crossroad.

in response to the guy asking about seravee’s rear face: Seravee’s rear has a hidden face behind its back. The rear design is artistic, but the function of the design suggests that the rear of Seravee is a GN particle capacitor. It disperses excess GN particles when needed and stores the particles when Face Burst Mode isn’t needed. When high GN particle output is needed, a second Gundam face reveals itself hidden under the armor pack. When the second face reveals, the lower sides of its face vents large amounts of GN particles necessary for immediate GN Field generation/regeneration and works in conjunction with Seravee’s GN particle weapons for higher destructive yield. The GN particle vents also provides additional thrust for maneuvering and hauling. Face Burst Mode is the most actively used function of Seravee.

put hero in 00riser and he would be unstoppable in the 00 series. The 00 is an impossibly fast gundam that should have killed setsuna 20 times over with the sheer speed he was going just as the tallgeese kills its pilots. Mr. bushido on the other hand is the best pilot in my opinion because in almost every battle he took part in he was in a crappy suit vs a gundam and would still f them up. kudos to mr bushido. aka Zechs Merquise wannabe

I personally think Gundam Seed Destiny (reference to Strike Freedom) is retarded. When Kira piloted SF. He never got hit. ONCE! Proving 00 and S Destiny has a huge difference in realism. Also. Heero is from a different era, using a different style of Gundams. There is absolutely NO WAY to compare. But i agree. Setsuna relies on his Gundam a bit too much.

Even if you have not watched turn A, im just assuming that you have watched gundam zeta, and know who amuro ray is. He was by far the best pilot in any of the gundam series.

I gotta agree with Nope… Amuro is by far the best pilot in any Gundam universe. He fucking builds his own mobile suits for fucks sake, and understands them better then any pilot or engineer on either side of the conflicts he’s involved in. A close second to Amuro is Heero, who was like Mr. Bushido in his ability to kick the shit out of far superior mobile suits even when piloting a shitty off the rack mass produced suit. As for Kira, I’m all about his Seed mode, but his ability to destroy enemy mobile suits without killing the pilot is nothing to write home about, as Sechs, Noine, and the rest of the Gundam pilots did the same damn thing at the end of Endless Waltz.

I don’t think people give Setsuna enough credit for his abilities. I mean just how many people can fight on par with Setsuna or better than him in a mobile suit? Lets see, there are Mr. Bushido(Graham), Ali Al-Saachez, and 2 of the Innovators… and that’s it.
People are willing to accept Graham’s skill as a pilot, well Setsuna did manage to fight him to a draw at the end of last season. And not to mention that Setsuna had been fighting practically all day, used his trans-am so Exia was operating at lower performance, and used up most of his armaments.
And I don’t mind the main character not being the best pilot in this era/vers, it makes the anime more unpredictable and realistic. Not like some other anime where we go “Oh there Kira goes again, eliminating the entire army by himself without getting hit.”

Idk why butI’m going to throw more chaos into the debate. Remeber transam has a few mins time limit that a blindspot for a enemy that could survive long enough. So, Wing zero learns more about the enemy as they fight so, if Heero repeatdly fought Setsuna and survives until he gains more data then he’ll gradually might be ableto get past the attack patterns. Also I’ll throw Domon from G gundam, because he took out Devil/Dark gundam which could regenerate,multiply andevolve by itself, as well as he uses the suit that lets him act as if the gundam was part of his own body and takes the damage himsel and his attacks are fueled by emotions. But against transam, he’s not going to win because of the speed differance.

There is one thing about Setsuna that I like but other pilots simply could not achieve though… He goes straight in for the kill with little hesitation. He does not waver as much as other pilots.
Kira just simply is the best pilot. He modified a military machine to achieve precision and functions beyond what the original makers could program it to do.
Amuro was a scrap collector for goodness sake, he has to know how to repair and built his own. Or am I confusing him with someone else….

you serioulsy cannot compare two gundams from different eras! its impossible absolutely. you can only compare pilots and if so then i would say hero would be better because of the superhuamn shit hes been through.
logically saying if you comepare suits then obviously gundam 00-raiser would be much better because of twin drives particles, trans-am, 7 swords and raiser, while gundam wing zero has the double beam gallet, machine guns and a beam sword. so technically you cannot compare them at all because of the differents eras and different eras have different technology.
Not even gonna go into this Gundam-fan arguement. Just think about how fast you have to be to hit something with quantum movement. Game over.

Gah, Trans-Am is a 3 minute use, and for 00G, he moves so fast, that it can’t physically be hit. To those of you who’re saying that Wing Zero would win, 00G would particle transfer over and cut it, or blast it with that burst beam. It’s no different from any of the other Gundams, you wouldn’t be able to outrun it, or hit it.

Seravees face is probably for Seravee’s second form. We all remember that from Season 1: Nadeleeh… the gundam that it becomes when it removes its armor.
As for Heero vs Setsuna… the answer is Kira. He has more battle experience plus SEED mode. And the person who said you need to put them into the same suit is absolutley correct. You can’t really compare across suits. Because along those lines I would throw Gundam XX (double X) into the mix.
1. Setsuna only has 26 episodes or so under his belt. So compared to Heeo Yuy and Kira Yamato he’s not as experienced.
2. Kira owned everything he laid eyes on in Gundam SEED Destiny. He disabled Asuran (no feet no arms) and made Shinn look stupid in a matter of seconds - and Shinn was the top pilot of GSD. Nothing phased him (no pun intended) for the whole of that series. His suit was also nothing leaps beyond his competitors. He just used it extremely well.
3. Heero Yuy only seems cool becuase he was devoid of emotion, like 1st season Setsuna.
If they all used a gundam like Strike or Exia, then Heero would not win. Both Kira and Setsuna have better sword play that Heero Yuy. However, if they were all in their own Gundam 00, it would be more interesting. If they were all in a Wing 00, it would go to Kira.
Oh yeah. PLEASE DO NOT MENTION GU GUNDAM. Worst endig series ever. And you Universal Century guys… SUCK. Amuro Ray. WTF. Anyone can analyze battle data. Kira Yamato is his OWN Zero system. How can Heero keep up without Wing Zero?
People hate on Kira fr actually having a heart. Yeah. He cried in Gundam Seed, and he still beat everyone. That just shows he’s the real deal. Heero Yuy would also lose in a fist fight to Kira Yamato. Don’t be in denial. You can’t equate some straneg notion of manliness to the ability to pilot a mobile suit and win. Amuro built his suit. SO WHAT? Heero is badass. SO WHAT? They wouldn’t beat Kira. Neither of them is a NewType advanced Human Innovator or whatever you’d like to call it. They don’t have the reflexes or analytic capability to match Kira.

And Gundam 00, Gundam 00 Raiser are better then Wing Zero. Just becuase they 1 have different propution systems and 2 Wing Zero would lose to the fake GN drive gundams. They are way faster, have more firepower and defense.

And if you’re going to compare the pilots (from Amuro to Aker)
There will be a two-way tie, Amuro Ray and Char Aznable….
No one can beat them, even they can’t beat each other even though they both died in CCA
And as for Gundams, SF is for spamming lasers, Wing Zero’s for destroying armies and 00-Raiser is for slashing suits and Turn-A Gundam is the most powerful(in terms of stats) if not overpowered suit of all…….
The bottomline is: UC is the best series, try watching everything before comparing, SF and Kira are gay, and Gundam Physics are getting impossible as the time flows……..

Firepower is nothing against skill, if Setsuna, Heero and Kira get into a fist-fight, it could be a two-way tie (Heero and Setsuna)…..
If its a Gundam Battle Royale, it would be Heero, Kira doesn’t have the guts to kill while the two will kill him first, as for melee skills, try watching Wing and you will see that Heero can fight at melee combat just as good as Amuro, in terms of ranged combat, SF can’t match the power of the TBR even though it has many weapons………
The scenario would be like this:
Kira using SEED and Hi-MAT at once, Setsuna commencing Trans-Am to dodge and slash SF’s guns, Heero would be at his maximum range charging his TBR……….
Before SF’s guns got cut off, Kira pulls his beam sabers and commence melee combat with Setsuna which will end up Setsuna’s win because of the capabilities of the Trans-Am and 00-Raiser, its kinda like an artillery-type Gundam against a MS elimination-type Gundam……
After that fight, Heero would have fired the TBR at the two, Setsuna having cut SF’s torso into half, evaded the shot……
Now, the two normal humans face each other into a melee combat, kinda like Epyon vs. Wing Zero……
Having the ZERO system analyzing the current situations, it feeds Heero with the possible tactics while Setsuna keeps on slashing……
Heero, now chose the winning prediction, cuts the 00-Raiser but evades it by quantization……..
Losing patience, and nearly reaching the Trans-Am limit, Setsuna makes a suicide run only to be shot by the TBR, but escaped because of the O-Raiser……
Possible isn’t it, Kira is just an action figure compared to Heero and Setsuna for scale models………
Ok this is getting irritable, this is my last post for my reply to someone’s deductions of the pilots’ (Heero, Kira and Setsuna) experience
The two normal humans are trained soldiers, Heero, being trained by Odin Lowe (read Shin Kidou Senki Gundam Wing: episode Zero for reference), and Setsuna by Ali al-Saachez as a child soldier and his training to be a Gundam Meister…..
Compared to Kira (might be playing video games prior to the series’ timelint) is just a student gatecrashing in to the war of soldiers showing off that he is the Ultimate Coordinator, and kinda being a dictator because of his “ideologies”……
In other words, Kira is just an otaku compared to hardcore fans like Heero and Setsuna……. (if you know what I mean)
Ok ok ok, this is kinda lame due to the fact that mostly every comment is about whose better blah blah blah.
I’ve decided to add a little piece of mine then.
Gundam 00 and Gundam W are of different series, so there’s no point argueing.
If Gundam Wing Zero HAD a GN drive, it’ll have Arios’s speed with Seravee’s firepower, plus it’s weaknesses of both Arios And Seravee (Slow fire rate and weak armor) Not sure if you’ll like a gundam which has to stay still to shoot with weaker armor to compensate with speed.
While on the other hand, OO Gundam Raiser was built with the purpose to have the speed and versatility to fight any battle against any mobile suit.
Regretfully, i think our friend Heero wouldn’t have much of chance, especially in close combat, which Setsuna can perform highly proficiently.
Need an example? Look at Gadessa’s battle against OO Gundam. Still can’t see it? Replace gadessa and slot in Wing Zero.

Sestuna is underrated,not every pilot can go through Alvatore+Alvaaron+Flag Custom II aka GN Flag gauntlet and live.
to huh,yes they would be able to use Super DRAGOONs,because they are designed to be widely usable.That and Heero actually HAS expirience with remote.Think of Planet Defensors that he even reconfigured for shooting.
That and Ultimate Coordinator doesnt give him a big advantege.He is just an ultimate designer baby,thats it,Heero was driven to superhuman levels by his training and Setsuna has expirience fighting Innovators(which should be superior to Coordinators for a number of reasons) an ALI.

I really dunno about a PS2 game,but official technical info states that Super DRAGOONs use the very same imroved Quantum Communications to make them accesible to wider masses of pilots.SF was initially intended as a mass-production MS,so that comes as no surprise.

You really dont understand the term “designer baby”.It means a baby that was born with physical and other features modified artificially and born as intended by designers.All Coordinators are genetic designer babies in this respect.

And thus I recommend you to go and rewatch episode 45 of SEED where it is obvious that Kira is nothing but a Coordinator with all genetic modifications carried on as a result of being in artificial womb.

He wasnt even able to properly utilize speed of Destiny and wasted it on predictable enraged charges and melee(only an idiot fight Infinite Justice with melee,fot IJ is the strongest as far as melee is concerned) instead of going for aerial dogfights where Destiny had an advatege.

ok people, kira, setsuna and heero were all in different timelines, different war situations and with different enemies. if u realli wanna compare, get the author to start another series where all 3 of them were in the same timeline, with the same training and stuff, then let them fight it out in the end. Its the same thing as getting the best fighter from his(fighter) tribe to go against the best fencer in his(fencer) own school. In any case, kira is powerful in his own series, GS+GSD, Heero in Wing and Setsuna in OO. No use comparing cos the result will never be out.
