Well… why gimp yourself in a battle? Wouldn’t anyone use whatever arsenal availiable to win? Saying that Setsuna is a loser by using trans-am to win is like saying the pilots in Gundam Seed are losers for going into seed mode and the US Army for using most of our technologies to win battles.
Love the 00 Raiser btw, wish it could’ve made a few more kills before the end of the episode though.

Awsome episoide I also wish that Gundam 00 Raiser could have killed some more shit while he was at it. Maybe in the next episode he will kill everrything else off. Great series and i can not wait for more.

Of course they are dragging it… it’s a serial anime. And I have to agree with the Setsuna comments. One of the coolest things about Hero (or was it Hiro..? Eh who knows) from Gundam Wing, Whom Setsuna is supposedly based on, was he could kick just as much ass in an off the shelf mobile suit as he could in his own gundam. Mr. Bushido and Ali-Al whatever dude are right: Setsuna relies way too heavily on his gundam.
Although Setsuna relies on his Gundam more than he should, this series is based on eradicating conflict, not being the best pilot. Plus, I understand most of you are disappointed having to see a main character rely on tech instead of skill, you should at least respect something NEW or different in any Gundam series.

Setsuna could not dock 0 Raiser before because repairs were not completed, Ian finished them when the 3rd hanger was hit by Gadessa

Ok i really hate starting to hate here cause is should at least that made celestian being~~~ stronger instead they made them look like dogs and weakling running around. and 00 raiser wun do much effect if the federation come out a counter plan with 00 raiser
and most likely they will come out with a new counter plan or a new mobile suit to deal with 00raiser and i would become useless again since setsuna is so useless!
OO Raiser has some serious potential, but this was once again another filler/setup episode. As much as I hate them, they are necessary for the eventual payoff episodes. This is also why I usually wait until a show has run it’s full course before I start watching it, as I hate waiting a week for said payoff.
I want to see some A-LAWS blood man… tired of Celestial Being getting it’s hat handed to it all the damn time.

to be honest, louise getting all pissed off and stuff about the captain dying is kind of an unfair view of the whole war. in wars people die, whether it be soldiers or civilians. there are always casualties.
the way A-laws trying to preserve peace is merely an exploitation on the weak in order to maintain peace for the powerful. bringing us back to the question leulouch asked: if powerlessness is a sin, then is power justice? one thing setsuna said to saji earlier in the series was: is it okay for just you to have peace?
in the process of attaining a certain goal, the method one uses will lead to the denial of other things. therefore there are always conflicts because there are different goals and different methods. it is not wrong to fight for a goal. but to claim oneself as righteous simply because of casualties is ignorance. it is simply a denial of the enemies’ humanity.

First of all let me get this straight, im a fan of the series. Second of all why the hell does everyone have to get naked in their gundams, I mean its so gay lol. The same thing happened in seed aswell. Also, why are little kids piloting gundams? Im pretty well sure a toothpick like setsuna would break in half when experiencing those G-forces… And Louise a piliot? Don’t get me started on that. And when in hell did Saji learn to pilot? WOW is all I can say, atleast make it realisitc. The gundams are the worst looking in this series by far, they should go back to the Gundam Wing concepts. All in all I admit its a decent series but I just want some damn reaility in these new gundam shows, not some random 17 year olds magcially flying gundams around that would litterally break them in half.
One more thing, the series producer shouldnt people whom presumablly died come back alive somehow, like WTF? Its almost like when Lockon died, hes magical twin brother whom has the same personallity and looks took over. This just really pisses me off.

first of all let get the information straight setsuna, lousise and saiji are all either 21 or 22 right now because 4 years have past and second of all the suits in this series do represent some of the gundam from wing don’t get me wrong on that but all of them have different capabilities they don’t haves abilities in wing and the producers of the series take references from others to see if they can improve on and make a new series using the reference on other gundam series that were man

Let be fair here, Setsuna really isn’t that bad of a pilot. One example of it would be the last episode of season 1 where he fought Graham to a draw. And as much as I like to see the main character kick ass and all, I’m not too upset about how Setsuna has to struggle to win some of his fights. It just seems more realistic. I personally hate that hollywood crap where the main guy is basically an one man army

Damn, alot of people are complaining about realistic.. It’s science fiction. About the G-Force issue, they’re better off smaller because their own weight would crush their bones if they were big and bulky–not to mention they could’ve thrown in reducers to slow it down. Saji pilots transports as his job in space–the evasion was all Haro, like how both Lockons used Haro for defense/evasion while they’d shoot.
About Setsuna relying on 00 Gundam? Dude, the guy’s obsessed with it–but most people have already commented on his real piloting skills in his defense as is..
Love the upload–lol at the myspacetv though. Lotsa dropped hints, foreshadowing, and that damned cliff hanger feeling.

This show is slow paced and the character development is terrible. It is actually getting quite boring and the same old stuff over and over, even the drama is the same old shit from the previous Gundams. For Louise to cry at the end at the loss of her captain which we were introduced to in the very same episode made me cringe. The overall plot is so predictable and the show is just really boring in general.. and it’s a shame because the animation quality and sound quality + voice acting is superb. 1st Season was not too great and so far the 2nd season is shaping up to be not much better. 7.5/10 Overall.

Whoops! leaked GN Drive’s now we can fight the gundams :_)))) and whoops twin drive system… and whoooops new suits to counter that pathetic system which you can’t really tell is stronger or just the same and then whooooohohohops a little Raiser to dock with mr. 00 and then we got ze power again to pwn 1 suit in 30 seconds.. wauw how aboslutely impressive… I could take a shit in 30 seconds seriously this is pathetic.. I bet they come up with another counter measure for that and then we start aaaaall over again
It occurs to me that it doesnt *matter* whether its Celestial Being or the Innovators that are straying from Aeolia Schenberg’s plan, or for that matter if the plan didn’t extend beyond the unification of the world against the Gundams. Celestial Being’s current course of action is the right one, and if it conflicts with Aeolia’s vision then fuck Aeolia’s vision. The idea is to defend the people of the world from aggression, not to fulfill some 300-year-old prophecy, it just so happened that the two goals seemed to coincide.

Anyone else notice that when Gundam 00 was first introduced, it was a ridiculously epic battle that was pretty bad ass. Now, they throw this 0-Raiser thing on and it falls short of the original unveiling. Good episode though.
although i do like 00 new equiptment and trans am, im not a big fan of fancy tools replacing skill. i hope they dont use these new syetems as crutchs.

hmmm. can someone explain why is it possible for the new lockon to have high personal stats despite no prior experience and training? it was reflected in previous episodes when sumeragi lee noriega was shocked when viewing lockon’s profile. perhaps he was piloting a Federation fake gundam in season 1?
They really should have ended the series in frist season and had a new cast in season two …
a lot of people are complaining about Saji piloting. I could of swore that Haro was with him. Doesn’t that mean Haro was doing most of the work and not Saji. Not to mention, when they showed Saji he wasn’t doing anything. Just my opinion, but hell, who knows?
