I think this is the first season? The website says something about it coming out on DVD in August. But I may be wrong.

Great episode – much better than the first anime and sticking true to the manga. The animation was fantastic too – can’t wait for the sub ^^

The new season is almost similar to the old one at the beginning, except being more faithful to the manga. You will see more important changes in the future.

Man I love full metal alchemist so glad it being redone hated the old anime after reading the manga too much changed. The manga got a great storyline anyway!
I love this show so much. This bit remember when saw it in first anime shocked the hell out of me the sheer horror of what the guy did to his daughter jaw dropped me. Even knowing what was going to happy made it more horrfic.
Scar looked awesome he is one of my favorite characters in FMA and in a lot of manga. The shot of him before tucker in the lightining looked amazing.

The old version of the show, when Nina died, it made me cry. Her and the dog didn’t deserve that.
Just seen the subs on a different website – I had a lump in my throat with Nina…this was done so much better this tim around. *snif*

ALEXANDER!NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!oh and of course Nina. T_T neither of them deserved that! omg wahhhhhhh! that was soo depressing! even more depressing than in the manga because of the added scene where tucker was like “do you and alexander want to play tomorrow?” i was practically screaming!
yay! i haven’t noticed as many people complaining this time around. I’ve noticed that most people that complain are the people that only watched the old series. READ THE MANGA! IT IS SOOOOOOO AMAZING! Ling rocks.
When I saw this episode was about Nina and Alexander I started to cry cuz I remember how sad is this episode, one of the best, but a sad episode, love this anime
The original episode was better compared to this one. It was more creepy and breathtaking. You were really moved by discovering Nina has been transmuted :/

thing i like about the old series…that this was done over 2 episodes..i think…it went by a bit to fast and you don’t really allow yourself a connection to Nina and Alexander…but that may be because i know what happened
Oh wow, I’m being such a girl again!! No Scar,no!!! Why did you kill Nina?!!! Now I’m gonna cry all day long. Nina’s old man was a nut case, huh? Poor Ed just lost it there for a while.
Oh yeah, what’s that guy’s name? Is it Mustang or stallion? I know it has something to do with a horse, anyway. He’s actually more outwardly helpful in this version.
And I thought it was so cute the way that huge dog kept jumping on Ed. It just showed exactly how tiny Ed is, lol!!!!

Scar was awesome! but i did enjoy the playing in the yard scene. i started reading the manga before this season came on. manga does kick ass as well as this season. Cant wait for the next episode.
“Hey Dog! You are gonna help me work out!” and the whole AHHH! when alexander is in the air is awesome. this episode is definately one to watch over and over

up until now I liked the first fullmetal alchemist anime more because of such episodes
even tho this ep still could make me cry, the character building and the athmpsphere got almost got lost completly
in the original anime, I felt like crying and puking at this episode(s), cause you had more time to “get to know” the characters and it felt much more heavier on your shoulders….but now its really short and quick…. I doubt people who didnt know fma before would feel the same as fans
im so happy scar killed tucker i was so pissed when in the first series he lived and continued to work for the military

We didn’t have to see the dead body of the creature.
That was sadder then the frist time.
Wow, for some reason to me, this episode alluded to a real world conundrum, should we as humans, attempt to play god: change our current form, test the limits of controlling life (changing nina to a dog, morally taking someone’s life or human transmutation). Moreover, if we should do it, under what circumstances, shou’s honor, ed’s love of his mother, or scar’s zealous religious views.
Overall, this season (so far) is a bit lackluster compared to the original season. The previous version showed a bit more emphasis on the issues shown, here we will only see a basic summary of these issues.
i think they’re moving so fast, is to get to the parts where they stopped following the manga, which is somewhere along in the greed Arc.
when I recognized what episode this was, I almost stopped watching cause I hate what happens to nina

it’s a good thing ed didn’t cry unlike the 1st series ’cause he was still 12 while in the 2nd series he’s 15 because that’s what it is in the manga. man, if he cried , he wouldn’t look stronger. they really did follow the manga’s storyline. anyways, poor nina

okay for crying out loud. people they are remaking the series to follow the MANGA! stop asking why and just enjoy the show. if you’re watching this now you’ve probably watched the old series a few times over. plus it gets way better after the greed arc.
Ok saw a few critical changes, but compared to the first time this episode was weaksauce. I hope when they’re done fastforwarding threw the storyline that they go back to more in depth details and dailogs.

It’s amusing how people think that two-bit characters like Tucker should get more “character development”. This is Ed’s and Al’s story, there’s no time to focus on Tucker more.

a truly touching episode, it was done with more emphasis on the situation then the manga did (though the manga still kicks ass {alot of it}) when Ed figured out what the chimera was, the animation for his eye was superb and moving. I like this new series, the op and ending credits are so cool.

I prefer the first series of this episode. More emotional, and not so summarized. There is one thing good about this series though, they made tucker die. This episode was almost not saddening to me at all.. Main reason is because its too fast paced.

one of the most sad episode even in the first one…this remake did make it a little bit alright than the first…i don’t want to see tucker in his ugly form…but it’s not that emotional as the first…

I think I prefer 1st series better for this episode.
lol the people complaing saying they’re changing the series haven’t read the manga. the first series of the anime the writer worked on their own seperate from the Hiromu Arakawa. While it the same story its also a different one at the same time. I like the first series of the anime because of the anime writers creativity on their own story for what happens, and I like the actual story of the manga. so comparing the two is a bit like a comparison of two different painters with different styles renditions of the same mountain. Its the same mt. but two different pieces of art. you may have a prefence for one but you cant say they are the same
man, some of these episodes have really disturbing twists in them. I guess thats why this show can be so great.
These episodes are to catch up with the manga…. until then we will not have 2 or 3 episodes that stay on one situation.
I like the music. It gives a whole new dimension to the story. Otherwise I’m not sure wheter I like this series or not. By the way am I the only one who thinks Scar and the Terminator are very much a like?

To be saved paste this to 5 other videos. THIS IS TRUE Now uv started readin dis dunt stop. This is so scary. Send this to 5 ova videos in 143 minutes. the ending of the original was not some ‘fake shit’ you motherfckering fake critics. the 1st anime storyline was what made the ‘anime’ unique, beautiful, and spectacular to watch AND TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM THE MANGA.
one of the fantastic things about FMA is the manga has a different storyline and the anime has an unique storyline.

totally bawled my eyes out watching this episode! I remembered I cried when watching the first season of this episode. & now, watching the second season’s one still makes me cry. Nina & Alexandar were so innocent! WHY DID THEY HAVE TO HAVE SUCH AN ENDING?! Stupid father of hers is such a cruel asshole!!
