Wow. Once again, an epic fail on the part of the subbers. Subbing is so damn easy. It’s not hard translating twenty minutes of dialogue into English. Don’t they realize how many fans are waiting to watch this episode? BUT NO!! It’s all about them and THEIR TIME. They just do whatever the hell they want to do and disregard the people that matter. These douches really piss me off.

erm not sure how any1 can be such an idiot. crap sbus dont take long to do maybe around 1-2 hours
but for professional subs like they are doing it takes time. first they need to translate it then check the translate then start to add the text with the time then edit and check. its actually very time consuming so i dont know here u get at if you dont contribute anything back yourself.
dont like the subbers? simple solution sub it yourself and stop bitching.

To fdsfdas – The storyline is different…You find out a bit later how the homonculi are really created…I won’t spoil it for you but their creation is different than in the 1st anime. Dante was an OC in the 1st anime too. This is based off the manga. The ending of the 1st anime was rushed and full of plot holes and too many silly plot twists. If you are too confused then I reccommend reading the manga. It’s very good.

You have no idea what you’re talking about. If you’re fluent in the language, it’s like copying the dialogue of a 20 minute English episode. Pure and simple. 1 hour job tops. There is nothing professional about what they are doing or else they’d get paid for it; they’d be working for Funanimation or Viz rather than wasting their time here. And I doubt they edit and check considering the number of glaring errors I see in these subs and how often they get revised at a later time. Face facts: The subbers are lazy. That’s all there is to it.
If someone links me to an episode of the raw, I’ll gladly sub this episode and prove my point. Maybe then you’ll think twice before questioning anything I say.
Well, pissed, the download link to the raw is below the pictures, I think. If you could really get the subs done within this day/tomorrow, I think you’d make a lot of people happy

3)a torrent link for the raw can be found on any anime torrent site that has raws too like anirena etc

First, they are not paid to do it, and yet they do it. Instead of staying here complaining and saying how easy things are, can’t you just be patience?
As Safron said, if you think your that great, sub it yourself. They are doing it for free for your info. And no, you did not sub it yourself, and why is that? Oh, its cause you cant even get the raw. And here you are, saying how easy things are. Even though they might not be paid, they ensure the best quality subs and go through thing properly, unlike half arsed subber. So if u got time to complain, why don u waste it on something more useful? Anyone here can blab like u about how easy it is to sub it and stuff, but get nothing done. If you wanna prove your point, post up the sub, oh no, i forgot, you cant even get the sub.

ok first things first pissed is only right about the fact that professional subbers finsh animes within an hour of it airing i only say this because crunchy roll has professional subbers that do katekyo hitman reborn subbed within an hour of it’s first airing but those ppl are being paid to do that and just want to say pissed shut the fuck up you should just be happy that there are people who love anime just as much or more than we do who take time from there busy days to make us happy by subbing anime for us so pissed go fuck off but before that pissed you should apolgize to the subber for being an asshole and then fuck off

Obnoxious people will always be obnoxious because they can’t take themselves out of the center of the universe. Any time not spent serving their needs is time wasted in their mind. Most upper-tier subtitlers will go through acquisition a raw, translation, editing, timing, and re-encoding of the video, each of these steps is usually done by a separate person, which makes it a coordinated effort by people who are leading their own lives outside of serving you. Most of them have day jobs and/or school to worry about, which typically means that that 1-2 hour job may have a 7-8 hour latency. I used to translate subs for the original series of FMA, and I don’t do it now because every hour of the day is eaten up by work and research.
I suppose if you guys paid the subbers handsomely enough that they could afford to dedicate every minute of their day to serve your piddly whims, then it would be a different story. Until then, you will never under any circumstances be eligible to complain. They don’t owe you squat. They’re offering your a service for free out of their own personal willingness to keep a community alive. If anything you owe them, and that is not open to debate.

I don’t see why you say it’s “an epic fail on the part of the subbers”. They have their own stuff to do and despite this they do this for free. You are right when you say “it’s all about them and THEIR TIME”, because in reality it is. If they have the time and they want other fans to watch and enjoy this episode they will do it. On the other hand they won’t complete it right away if they have more important things to do or if people like you who don’t know the words, ‘RESPECT’ or ‘THANKS’ (maybe because you never get either) seem unworthy of their almighty subbing.
Your comment is ‘an epic fail on the part of you as a fan’ and I think you should rethink about saying how easy it is to sub episodes free-of-charge in your free time. You should try subbing episodes every week FOR FREE and uploading them online 1-2 hours after the first airing. You seem to think it’s SO simple and from how you say, “If you’re fluent in the language, it’s like copying the dialogue of a 20 minute English episode. Pure and simple. 1 hour job tops”, you seem fluent in the language (Japanese). This brings up 2 questions:
1) Why don’t you just watch the RAW without the subs (like I do*)?
2) Why don’t you sub it yourself instead of complaining, making more people happy?

Oh, and btw with your deal of proving your point by subbing faster, I look forward to seeing the next episode subbed at around 3-4 hours (since you aren’t a PROFESSIONAL) after the first airtime. That would be greatly appreciated by all the fans that have to wait for subs. If you do I might ignore your stupid messages without even questioning them, but if you can’t then just SHUT UP, WAIT PATIENTLY FOR THE SUBS, THANK THE SUBBERS and APOLOGIZE TO THEM FOR INSULTING THEIR AWESOMENESS.

Gr8 episode, I was so relived that eyepatch guy walked away, Barry died, he was a good guy. sad thing to die by your own body. So much diffrent then the original series

To everyone who complains about the subbing:
1- Maybe the subbers aren’t fluent in English and Japanese
2- It’s more than just coping down the language, they have to but the text down on the video, filter out any noise if the raw is bad quality, sync the subtitles with the voices.
It’s a lot of work. I appreciate what these people do but I wouldn’t want to have to meet one of them. Talk about no life, these people probably have absolutely no spare time to do anything (assuming they don’t live in their parents basement^^)
Hey does anyone know if they are going to continue after 26 episodes? Because at the top of the page it says finishing after 26, but is it going to continue afterward?
depends on how well the first season does if they continue or not. right now the manga is still going on monthly so there could easily be a 2nd season.

this is not some sort of Cipher. there are different tenses, connotations, and symbology that simply cannot be carried over into English. not exactly anyways. taking these things and carrying them over into a form that your primitive minds are used to interpreting takes time.

Imo, this was an awesome episode. When Lust popped up out of nowhere my heart skipped a beat because I knew she was going to inevitably kill someone, and I don’t like the good guys dying in here, or in any anime. xP But yeah awesome ep. And to the complainers about subs, come’on. Just come’on.

Can any1 tell me why they screw one of the most important storylines in FMA history. Now its going2 screw Hulmanculous NO.3 great battle?

They skip one or 2 chapters again. They was so post to show envy and lins party before they aired the Lust finale. To bad we wont see Ling in action like in the manga where he slice gluttony in haft. I never taught lust would die in this ep. Those where good chapters they skip. We have to wait till the third Humonculuos battle to see Ling and Ran Fan inaction.
