Lucy is a 17-year-old girl, who wants to be a full-fledged mage. One day when visiting Harujion Town, she meets Natsu, a young man who gets sick easily by any type of transportation. But Natsu isnt just any ordinary kid, he’s a member of one of the world’s most (in)famous mage guilds: Fairy Tail.

Well, they seem a bit different then they did in the Manga. Natsu could have pulled off being Luffy’s brother. and his hair is pink? really? And I totally thought lucy was sporting orange hair.. why blonde >_>
I hvn’t read to much of the manga, I knew there was going to be an anime for this. It looks interesting. and as I said, he seems very Luffy like in personality too, I like that kind of charector.

No lucy’s hair is blonde if you look back to the begining of the manga they tell u there what her hair color is. Also on a side not i hope the don’t screw this anime up and it woun’t get canceled like rave master did.

the manga is shit I read 2 chapters and couldn’t go on…it’s like a 5 year old’s dream where everything happens according to his wishes. How about some reality or diversity in events…
lol, theres plenty of diversity and tragedy, you just gave up before you found out how good it was. I won’t spoil it for you but there are plenty of interesting story arks like Erzas and the Fairy Tale Mutiny.
Lol that seems interesting. Natsu’s voice sounds like the voice actor for some other anime or sounds like some other anime dude. (i am not sure how to word that sentence o.o)

Man the manga is so awesome and natsu is such a bad ass not sure about his voice or lucys but man I hope this sticks to the manga maybe weekly would be awesome because some seriously good story arcs in it.

omg, im so excited, either its good or bad, im just excited that they r making an anime for fairy tail!!!! manga is just plain awesome, thats why. anyway, lucy looks kinda mature in the animation, i think, but im sre there will be times, that she will look how she is in the anime. as for natsu, he’s voice is different than expected. somehow, i had luffy’s voice in my mind.. hehe

Lol, I got a few hints about the manga over time and when I heard that it was going to be an anime I actually went and read the manga all the way up to its current chapter. I swear, if they used the same artwork as the manga, ppl would think this was just like One Piece.(This is mainly why I pictured Luffy’s voice for Natsu.)
lucy has the same voice actor as suzumiya haruhi
omfg natsus voice.. NO, it has to be luffy’s!!, they picked a voice that would match a cool character, i dont think that voice is gonna make me lmao, cause a deepish voice like that is DEFINATELY not going to cut it. Hopes for not messing up like rave master

The Voices… Ugh… I expected their voices to be like that, but not so… girly…. So put on….

lol 5 year olds dream? thats more like Naruto, wheres the reality in that? its all too predictable, u cannot judge the manga by only reading 2 chapters, in every manga the first few chapters a intro to the characters, so u cant say the managas shit just from reading 45 pages of the manga, but overall to me the anime will be ok but could be better with the voice overs, i just hope they stick to the full manga storyline.

I think they should have picked a different voice actor for Natsu, the voice doesn’t sound like the way I imagined. I ask three other people who read the manga and they said the same thing. His character should almost sound like Naruto, but not as whinny. It just doesn’t make sense to me that’s all.
I pictured Natsu voice to be more cute and child-like …..

Natsu’s Voice and Lucy’s Voice are alright. Don’t go by just saying they dont fit or match. Their fit. Jeez just enjoy the show.
