Seriously…. the plot is VERY hard to follow without the subs, and its also very random, neverless it is a good movie.
When the movie stops at 72 minutes, remember which time you were at, then fast forward to it and wait the hour to watch it again, that simple.

So, I see that Eureka and Renton have returned reborn as the same people. What I don’t understand is how Holland and crew did not age at all when Anemone and Dominic obviously did. Is this a completely alternate story or is it still somehow connected. P.S. ( I have only watched the 24 min subbed version…)

It’s an alternate story and completely unrelated to the original series except for the fact that they are using the same characters. Kinda boring and lame since they reused most of the scenes from the series. Oh instead of waiting for someone to upload the movie in shitty quality how about you guys actually use google for once and download it yourselves?!?! Amazing idea huh?

This was not the movie I was hoping for…it is the total opposite of the anime series. Movie went by really fast (yes I watched the whole movie). Not much explanation of how Renton and Eureka got together. Renton killing people and saying its ok? I am really disappointed. I give this movie a 1 out of 5( I would prefer the anime series… )

I think she had to give up her Crystals, Aka her memories, to the Image. I don’t think it was temporary. She could ’speak’, but had no language. Something ‘happened’ when Eureka met the Image, but it was not shown. I imagine she negotiated a deal between mankind, Image, and her dream for a life with Renton.

this was great, i feel like this was made just to give renton justice. He was picked on for the first 30 episodes by the whole crew soooo bad, and in this movie he just completely crushed their dreams! It was also kind of interesting watching these characters as pretty much polar opposites of their originals. A hero Dewey, a selfish Holland, a hap that criticized and betrayed Holland. LOVED IT!

Lawls first is first EPIC movie! and what I think for all you noobs I think this was a continuation of the anime/ filled in some of the things left as questions. All tho they gave a better ending than that cliff hanger not letting you know what happened. I think they kinda of took the anime and made the plot of it into the movie, Lol even tho I haven’t looked into this at all and I didn’t even know a movie was coming out. But watching the movie I seen many many scenes from the anime that were the same like Nirvash going wild all they added was Renton getting shot and then saved by Eureka, which then lead to them going to Neverland. but I’m not sure I’m sure there are sites that have the plot summary and answers questions all of us have.

Guys, why does everyone want this to follow the manga or the series? It puts a neat little twist on the whole story and how the series could have went. Sure, they didnt explain some stuff. like why eureka is naked and cant speak. But it was a very enjoyable movie.

And changing some of the characters personality was quite ridiculous imo, like Hap.
It’s very hard to make a show based on Eureka 7 and convert it into 2 hours that will turn out to be a ‘good’ movie, I suppose. But re-inventing the show is a major no-no in my opinion, especially with how they made the story and plot. Neverland? For fucks sake.. were they on crack or something?

It was really great, really , i love the original story more like i said before but at the beginning i was like “this is so a stupid Storyline” but they i started liking it and every thing, it really really is a great movie! The ending is great but compared to the original stories everybody except Eureka and Renton are stupid XD. Well anyways like i said GREAT GREAT MOVIE, WORTH WATCHING :] (But i prefered if they just continued the series instead)

In my opinion this movie had its pros and cons but in the
end was worth while. For viewers who claimed it being,”Confusing and unpredictable…” Well all I can say is if you actually understood what the actually series is about.Like in the movie what are the coralians?This movie tied up some lose in that were in the series. Anyway this movie was definitely in my summer thriller list.

Odd, if I remember right the entire series includes the mysticism of parallel realities. I’m not sure how one can miss that, saying that this movie failed because they showed another implementation is very daft. Any Tsubasa/xxxHolic fan knows that every implementation adds another piece of the puzzle along with a great story.

For fucks sake is right, neverland? So what happens then, he just walks around neverland without nirvash and a girl that cant speak anymore for the rest of his fucking life?… Sounds like fun… They cut the viewers off at the end, it isn’t even funny how shitty this movie was, and I’m not even going to bother criticizing the plot. The plot was so crappy it’d be a waste of my time to even criticize it because I’d be writing a biography practically if I do criticize the plot.

You ‘NEVER’ kill the main character of a FUCKING SERIES…but seeing how this made a big u-turn from how the series played out, I guess it doesn’t even matter since it was a 50 episode series re-written into a hour and half long video…

This was a different dimension, wasn’t it? I mean that other earth and the moon that Eureka and Renton had carved a heart on was seen by that other earth’s Holland through a black hole or something.
While this did confuse me a bit I really enjoyed it. I loved all the characters from the anime series, but I must admit that this movie kind of made me dislike this version of Holland and the two guys that Nirvash killed. They were whiny and just got on my nerves tall time.
As for Renton being selfish, well he wasn’t really. All he wanted to do was to protect Eureka and he did that to the best of his ability. The selfish one was that earth’s version of Holland who was willing to kill literally millions of people so that he and his crew could find never land.

Even though this movie has nothing to do with the serious and might be little confuseing.; I found it to be amazing. Yes there are things in the serious that might not add up to the movie, but who cares? You honestly cant say and mean that you did not enjoy this movie for a split secound. From the crazed battle scenes to the romantic courage of Renton. This movie was absoulty Flawless.
When you watch this movie dont get to attached to the serious just throw all of that out of your mind. Just watch it for fun. 8D

After reading some replies i realised the movie wasn’t that bad, still i prefer the series and the movie could have been better. Plus, the drugs that keep them young? lmao. Well still is a pretty damn good movie, just the fact thats its Eureka Seven makes it wonderful and worth watching ;]
From my opinion this was probably the alternate reality created by Nirvash and the coralians at the end of the series. Don’t quote me though. That’s just what it seems like I really have no idea but it would make sense if it was. However, I won’t lie, had they taken the original series and made a continuation or an ending it would have been worth my while. But that’s not to say that this movie was bad. It was pretty good and i believe they accomplished what they wanted. Yet I’m still disappointed that it wasn’t from the original. In the end, the concept was nice.
the movie has nothing to do with the anime, it was created as a stand-alone movie just using the name Eureka7 and characters to create hype so they could make a quick buck, Great movie tho just has nothing to do with the anime at all.

ERM It was alright, started off really good but the ending was a bit crappy, I mean what I liked was the implication of te anime being a parrarell universe which they knew about and that they wanted to get to it (holland in this universe) because we saw the planet and the moon at the end of the anime which didnt happen in the movie, so I thought they really tried
to make you think that maybe when nirvash and dominic and anamone left with the end it was them leaving to this alternate
universe.

Just one of my only gripes with anime films and anime tv series and they never have much relation to one another when they really good make it impressive.
Higashi No Eden seems to be one of the few anime series that ends with two movies relating to the anime tv series.

Absolutely awesome, from beginning to end. Sure it was a whole other storyline from the series but still, it was a great story. Sad Eureka lost all memory’s in the end but she gets to be with Renton forever in return. Loved it.

Guys, the movie made more than one reference the happening was around 2050ish, when the Scurb Coral first “attacked” humanity.
-You can tell by the title of the mystery book they were reading (the anime-series had shin in front of the title whilst early in the movie it did not. Here are a few:
-The spaceship is departing.
-There is water on the planet.
-The display is quite horrid since it is only 50 years into the future.
-Image is Coralian. Since there was no Skurb Coral in underground 10,000 years ago, it wouldn’t make sense for them to have the same names.
Quality wise the movie is only sub-par since it recycled a lot of the footage from the series, but concept wise it is quite good.
In case you still are not picking up. This movie foretold the happening of Earth 10,000 years ago, the reason why humanity abandoned Earth and left for space. Since all the cast’s genes were left w/ the Scurb Coral (whether dead or alive), you can imagine the series is a “coincidence” in 10,000 in which all of their genes were reproduced upon human’s revisit to the planet.
