Interesting at first, it grows boring after 2 hours because you can’t upgrade your characters.
At the 2 hour point, the enemies are way too strong and you’ve only been to the shop twice, so you’re low on essential items.
At this point you have to die. I was killed by the zombie boss being puppeteered by the ghost.
Let me know how you guys did!
meh i beat the game in about an hour, wasn’t too bad of a game. relatively easy to understand and entertaining

God damn, I got Beam Cannon’d. I figured a good Defend combined with the full effect of the protect skill would keep me alive, but nope. Just barely killed me.
Some tips I found useful:
The girl has a secret ability to randomly regenerate mana whenever she defends an attack. Forget about her attack spells and keep her on a healing/defending pattern. As a healer, keeping her alive and filled with mana will be a prime necessity.
Use elemental advantages. The only one I found real helpful though is the firesword/eruption combo I use on trees and water elementals. Deals a good 20,000 damage and up.
For foes such as the robots, which have ridiculous attack and defense and no weaknesses, equip the stone sword to live longer, and then use the air strike. The air strike occasionally drops a big bomb, which will do 25,000 damage to any foe, regardless of its stats.
This is the most important of all. ABUSE, ABUSE, ABUSE STATUS EFFECTS. Protect, Temper, Attack up, Magic up. These are the most essential abilities to making it through this game. A good SoulEater/Temper combo is enough to make your normal attacks do a standard 15,000 damage. YOUR NORMAL ATTACKS!
And don’t waste your time with skills like Judgement or Legend. They are a waste of mana, and you can get more damage out of skills like air strike which does 25,000 damage for only 50mana or simply do the SoulEater/Temper combo mentioned above.

yea..after the mecha boss it just gets old without a story line or equipement
but the graphics on this are beautiful!! and soundtrack is great as well
