Dragonball Film Sequel Already Written, but needs “green-lit”

Dragonball film actor Justin Chatwin (Son Goku) told SciFiNow, Imagine Publishing’s British science fiction, fantasy, and horror magazine, that his live-action project already has a script for a second film written. Chatwin added that if the sequel is green-lit, “The second one goes more into the whole legacy and the genealogy of Dragonball. It goes more in-depth into a real Dragonball series, the kind of intergalactic world of Dragonball.”
This follows actress Jamie Chung’s recent statement that the actors had signed up for two sequels to the first movie.
James Wong and 20th Century Fox’s live-action film adaptation of Akira Toriyama’s Dragonball fighting manga will open in Japan on March 13. It will then open in the United Kingdom on April 3 and open in America on April 8.

i think a live action dragonball movie would’ve have been better. i dont think the power people have in dbz can be put into a live action well. at least with a drabonball one you could concentrate on martial arts more than special effect light shows. plus a live action jaken fist would be hilarious. XD
It took a long time to get a good Batman movie after Michael Keaton wasn’t in them anymore. I suspect they will fuck up a few Dragon Balls before they get it right. Makes me wish the Dragon Balls were real so I could wish for a good movie now:)

ok listen first off dont judge the movie before u see it….secondly they are sticking to the story… the original story is that a young saiyan wass raised by his grandfather and in the first saga he takes on king piccolo.. honestly how weird would it look with a brolic kid as goku it wouldve looked stupid…just because hes a teenager in the movie doesnt mean that they stray away from the story line. there was a dragon ball z movie created in the late 80′s or the early 90′s in japan or thailand look it up and see how crappy that was.
