Dragonaut has been dropped by shinsen subs so thus this anime will never be subbed unless a different subbing group picks it up which is highly unlikely sorry guys better start learning japanese xD

I’ve been on vacation since friday, and I saw moose’s recent post, and decided we’re going to drop a few more titles that are gonzo related, cause let’s face facts, they are the ones drawing the anime we do watch, so its out of respect that if we are asked to stop subbing it, BY THE ANIMATORS, then so forth, we will. But we will take it one step further and not sub anymore gonzo shows, cause we really don’t want to be number one target of letters and C&D’s.
Does this mean we’re going to drop if stuff if we get letters from other companies? Well, that all depends on how they ask. The Anime community itself and its leechers has changed alot in the past 5 years, I’ve witnessed it as a old fansubber as have my friends who have fansubbed as long as I have. We won’t put our necks on the lines for the leechers who sit there and scream cause something isn’t out timely, or ready to be watched 6 hours after airing. It’s getting old and causing more groups and fansubbers to not even want to continue. A prime example of this right now is the crying we get over REBORN and D. Grayman. I see it also happening with Zebutsou Sensei and a.f.k. Past things like Nanoha from YESY and everyone crying about it lead to just delays and flames from the leechers. Eclipse also gets a lot of slack from the leechers as well over Shana and Clannad. Personally, Shinsen’s view as for doing this for the fans has changed. Back, oh… 3 years ago, the leechers were more appriciative for our work and effort for what we did. Now, its just a gimme gimme gimme or u suck sort of deal. So, we’re just fansubbing cause its more so we want to, and if you don’t like the pace, then don’t download from us. We’re not your entertainers, we’re just a bunch of people, who for the most part, like to watch anime that we fansub and now do it for that reason.
We’re not perfect, infact, no one is, and I’m sure some /a/ 4chan retard will post this to start a nice big faceless flamewar. Whatever, we don’t care at this point, cause why should we. It’s the internet after all, and paying attention to the faceless is a complete waste of time.

There are other fansubs group that are doing, or have completed these series and I assume will continue to do so till they get letters or get sick of the leechers bitching.

by leechers the mean little 11-13 year olds who have jumped into the anime scene with in the past couple of years, so dont give me ur bullshit i never complain about subs cuz i kno it would take alot longer to learn Japanese than it would to wait a day or 2 for subs
It’s not too bad actually; I’ve taken 101 and I’d say I understand about half of what’s being said in the RAW episodes. Understanding it is easy, but the hard part is speaking it fluently, that takes years.

Good reason to stop subbing I say. I wouldn’t do it either if I was asked by the artists to stop subbing their work… though I for one, always go out and buy whatever I watch when I get the chance or if a subbed CD copy comes out, I feel its my duty to support those artists who create the work that so many of us appreciate… and what better way to appreciate it than with a little green? Thats why we work. That and the praise… so thanks for subbing for as long as you have, and thanks to those who picked up where they left off. Those of you who are part of the gimme gimme… shut up and be patient, do you know how hard it is to sub these things? Just do a voice transcipt of someone you interview /in english/ and see how hard that is… now try doing that in a different language. Hours of hard work, not to mention trying to keep it sequenced with the voices on video! So again, I appreciate you’re hard work guys! Keep it up! ^^
