Death Note: Rewrite 2: L’s Successors

The Japanese broadcaster NTV has announced that it will air the Death Note Rewrite 2: L o Tsugu Mono (Death Note: Rewrite 2: L’s Successors) special on August 22. Like the first special, this new compilation will summarize a part of the 2006-2007 television anime series. Specifically, it will recount the final half of the supernatural suspense story, including the investigators Near and Mello’s confrontations with the vigilante Kira.

   Not worth watching. Waste of 90 minutes. 90% of it is just clips from the episodes.

   I’m a fan of Death Note, but this is just pointless.

   nothing special but the quick recap of season 2 partially hosted by L. Ending was the same, action was the same, subbing appreciated but off a bit.

   I love DN but this was a mega waste of time if you already watched the whole series, cuz nothing but he opening with L was new.

    Aw. As a few above said, I was hoping for an alternative also.. They honestly should make one. Even though I knew this wouldn’t be it, I still watched it because I love deathnote. But they should make an alternative ending where Light does win!
