Darker than Black: episode 7 “The Gardenia Gives off Fragrance in the Early Summer Rain… (Part 1)”

Although the humor is obviously more apparent in this episode, it definitely is not the low-quality, irrelevant-to-plot, not-very-funny episode I had dreaded it to be. It’s still another Darker than Black short story, involving Hei and others, though this time with some random detective as the main character. The young-in-appearance girl isn’t even important, so this episode has definitely satisfied me. The biggest mistake Darker than Black could make would be to try and pull off a stunt that I thought they had did with this episode, and ruin the overall serious themes and general awesomeness of the show.

wow this is one of the coolest animes ive ever sen, others are full metal panic, fullmetal alchmist, claymore, hellsing
Yeah. As soon as the young-in-appearance girl made her first over-the-top, hyperactive entrance, I got very worried that we were in for some “filler” type material. Glad to see they didn’t do that to us.
On an side note, my vote for “Worst Pointless Anime Episode Ever” would have to go to the episode of Bleach about the spirit who wanted to bake a cake for his mother. It made me want to scream!
All episodes end before the real end. ? can’t see the löast minutes. IT IS SOO D..N Inoing.
