Check out Scrapped Princess and X you guys! You’ll love em. Also, Rahxephon is ok, DearS is hilarious. Onegai Twins is along the lines of Onegai Teacher if you’ve seen that, Saikano is great for strangeness and a laugh or two, and Gankutsuou is the anime version of The Count de Monte Cristo.
