Oh my God, this is exactly like Death Note, except from the other side. Shnizel is out to kill off all ‘sinners’ and become the next god. He’s even manipulating Nunnaly and the Black Knights like Light did to Misa and the investigation team. Oddly enough it seems like Lelouch is L (go figure). The true question is, who is Shnizel’s Mikami (aka his downfall)?
so like in death note bith protagonist are super smart and both have a power that brings loneliness, so will code geass end up like death note? I think it will. Both yagami light and lelouche lamprouge want to reshape the world to their own liking and both don’t really care what happens to other, and their both crazy. So i think it lelouche will die like yagami did
this shows that people can be easily deceived, only believing things that are visible and obvious. but usually what matters are things that are hidden and not disclosed. schneizel is just like politicians, the end justifies the means, this is how they work. and the ironic thing is that, we feel okay to be ignorant and a lot of times, we choose not to see.
I am pretty certain that Code Geass has nothing to do with Death Note. I am sick of people comparing Light and Lelouch. They are completely different. I don’t anticipate this ending in any way similar…

Zero Requium is probably just like Gundam 0 where Lelouch will have the whole world hate and try to kill him and he will probably let them later. He did say he wanted to erase what Euphemia and Nunnaly did from everyones minds and to instead think of him as the real enemy.
Lelouch and Light are only similar in that they are both geniuses out to make the world a better, otherwise they’re playing totally different games. It’s more like Lelouch is playing Shogi and Light was playing chess, seriously Chess is soooo much simpler than Shogi. Just look up the differences and you’ll see what I mean.

another Season^^? bullshit i say. I dont even really consider R2 a second season, just a continuation of the already existing plot. A third Season would be entirely pointless as all the loose ends are coming together in the next few episodes. The REAL enemy has been revealed, the forces for both sides have been determined, sort of at least as we all know the BK is gonna reside with Lelouch, and the final battle has already begun. As long as some random unhinted plot device doesnt just magically Deus Machina itself into the plot then we even can guess the ending scenario. Of course i could be all wrong and the whole show could magically pull a freaking season 1 cliffhanger…….Id probably cry if that happens. I NEED closure here.

I love this show!! All of the mind games and rivalries. I can’t believe that Nunnally actually agreed to pull the trigger and kill thousands of people. I hope she doesn’t go crazy too. All you who worry about this ending like death note I wouldn’t worry because i seriously doubt that Lelouch stills hascompassion and people he loves and cares about and wants to protect. Honestly, ever since episode 19 of R2, everything has gotten so utterly shocking and awesome! This episode is totally great and damn, Schneizel is the best enemy ever! He rules!!! As for Nunnally, I can’t believe that she actually pressed the activation button for the freia and honestly, I loved her for not hesitating to do so! Furthermore, Lelouch is not being himself anymore. He’s honestly becoming hypocritical whether you guys admit it or not. The bottomline is, in Code Geass, almost all of them are assholes who strive for power and watching them achieve their goals through unjust means is super entertaining. Yeah, I say we should all pay tribute to Machiavelli!
