schnizel leaves the destroyed area 11 and attacks china… wow love this part… the union will fight schnizel and the fighting members includes karen, gino(wow), anya, orange kun, the chinese guy, and suzaku(whoah!!)… the final battle of lulu and schnizel, the union and britannia starts..

because of schnizels strategies and battle tactics lulu`s are losing… due to orangekun`s special attack, he defeated knight 12 but due to knight 1`s strength many people in the union are being defeated… suzaku goes all out in the enemy`s formation.. and what saves him is lulu`s words… (maybe the “I order you to live!” by lulu in season 1 Image cool..)

I wonder if anyone else here feels that this is definitely a tragedy similar to the works of Shakespeare. Lelouch has passed a certain Climax point where he could have ended up as the victor but now is becoming the tragic hero. The one who trys to succeed but is now lossing everything one by one.
That was a nice touch, you know, hoe lulu’s brother ****ed everything up for him, twisted events (although he believes everything he said is exactly how it happened), and pretty much raped lulu’s plans straight through their pants… nice…

Ah, Rolo /was/ happy there in the end saving his brother. Poor kid, that scene made me sad. Lelouch is all alone and Suzaku has now officially gone batshit. Oh what to do, what to do.
Took me awhile to figure out the point of no return for Lelouch or the point where everything begins a slow descent to his downfall. One of the best examples in Shakespeare is in Hamlet where Hamlet could have killed his uncle while he prayed for forgiveness but let the moment pass him
Lelouch’s is when he commands Euphemia to kill all Elevens, if it did not happen none of this would have occured and Lelouch would have lost nothing. However because of that event he is nearing his eventual death.
Of course this is all a theory from comparing this show to Shakespearean Tragedies. He may not die, however many others have already died and the similarities to the setup of a Shakespearean Tragedy all point so far that he is to die, along with his enemies.

I believe the similarities with Shakespearian Tragedies are there but it won’t end the same way. This shows is quite similar to Hamlet, Othello and Julius Caesar. If you have read or seen Julius Caesar the first scene of Code Geass in the first season is almost the same as the scene when Cassius helps Caesar to come out of the river.”Here Suzaku helps Lelouch to climb the hill.” And the plot is the same. Cassius betrayed Caesar and became his mortal enemy, same as Suzaku and Lelouch. But even though the similarities are there, I believe the end will be slightly different but still as tragic. Lelouch won’t die. He will win in the end. But he will have lost everything. He will become King but as C.C said “The power of the King is lonely indeed.” Other than C.C I don’t think he will have anyone left and the world will change but for others, not for the people he loved and wanted to create this world for. Truly ironic isn’t it?
This isn’t following typical shakespearean tragedy formula, I think it’s one of those typical japanese really-big-douche-needs-to-die I.E Charles, with typical japanese high points and low points for the protaganists. Not to say this isnn’t an awesome anime though… poor Rolo.

The End of the Black Knights huh, i don’t kno why did Lelouch lie to eneryone like that saying they were pawns, he made friends from the Black Kinghts and about 90% of them weren’t controlled by Geass, it fustrates me. I’ll give props to Rollo 4 saving Lelouch but what about C.C?? Lelouch as lost he lost is firends the Black Knights and Nunnally (maybe)so the only thing we can do now is sit back and watch it end, don’t look like a season isn’t gonna happen. China is goona get hammered in the next ep and more betrayal will occur. Hope it ends with a bang!!!!

I actually liked Rolo and somehow I can’t bring myself to hate Suzaku. Somehow this episode seemed short and not as intense, but still satisfying. OMG! I love this anime! Lelouch really is losing everything and everyone. Can’t believe they turned against him. Why doesn’t he just live on the island where Rolo landed. Bing! Lightbulb! Inspiration! Story time! Leluoch, Rolo, Nunnally, Kallen, and Jeremiah are (somewhat or all) Britanian. Wow this ep was very heart breaking. The ending kinda reminds me of the ending of Dark Knight where everyone is against the hero. I had wondered what would happen when the truth comes out that Lulu was responsible for the massacre.
As for the Black knights betraying Lulu and signing this treaty with Britainnia. 100% they will go back on their word and Lulu will have to come save the day again when the Knights are getting their butts handed to them.
I’m somewhat dissappointed in Kallen for losing faith so easily in Lelouch.I hope she will stick by him because she’s all he has now.Who knows what will become of C.C..

OMG!!! That episode was both awesome and horrible! I don’t like the Black Knights very much any more. Even OUGI was against him, and he’s the one (besides Kallen) who trusted him in the first place. That definately wasn’t the way I though Lelouch would reveal his identity to everyone. Great, just great. We finally start to like Rolo, and he dies, Kallen’s pretty much the only one who still believes in Lelouch, Lulu’s lost everything now, and Suzaku’s gone a little nuts. Well, maybe we’ll get lucky, and Suzaku going insane was really Suzaku getting an epiphany that tells him to be on Lulu’s side. XD
Man, I had to wait all week to see this ep, and I sure wasn’t disapointed! Can’t wait to see the next one! ^_^

i didn’t think i would actually be bawling 2 times in this episode….once when Lelouch was freaking out about Nunnally, and the other when Rolo died. that one was worse. I didn’t realize how attached i had gotten to Rolo. and i knew he would die, i read it on Wikipedia, but it was still hella sad
this is by far the most dramatic heartbreaking episode. i hated rolo untill this episode. rolo you are my hero even though u wur bein used you sacrificed yourself to say lulu who was gonna kill u in the end T_T. u wil always stay inside me for that

Honestly, I’ve wanted lots of the characters on Code Geass to die but definitely Rolo wasn’t on my list! I totally loved Rolo since episode 1 of R2 and his undying loyalty for Lelouch despite the fact that Lulu was just using him as a tool was sweet. This is probably the most tragic episode yet in CG.
