Of Course he lied. You have to understand Lelouch’s character to see why he said the things he did in this episode. He is the kind of person that will accept responsibility for everything even if it was out of his control. It is his pride that’s on the line. He doesn’t want the pity of others nor will he accept that there are things that are outside of his control. To him, though Eyphie’s death was an accident, he was responsible for it because he let his guard down. So, since Suzaku already has him labeled as a villain, he won’t ask for forgiveness, for he believe he is not worthy of it nor will his pride let him ask for it. It’s really sad to think about it, but Suzaku saw through him. He knew he lied about everything and he suspects that an accident happened back then. And he knows that Lelouch lied about why he saved him, the hotel hijacking and when he used the geass on him. I wonder what will happen now…first Suzaku hated Lelouch and misunderstood everything, now Lelouch thinks Suzaku betrayed him again when he went so far as to kneel before him.
Yeah excuses would just make it worse. Suzuku wouldn’t feel any better if he knew euphie’s death was an accident anyway, only thing you can do… suck it up and bear it. Lelouche, I really hope he doesn’t off more of his friends.

Lelouch did not lie because he believes he is the one at fault for Euphie’s and Shirley’s deaths(which he is btw). The script writers didn’t want it to look like he was making up excuses for their deaths. If you think about it the reason Euphie and Shirley died is because of Zero so i think they script writers selected the right choice of words for him to say. Otherwise a whole shit load of drama(waste of animation) would have unfolded if Lelouch denied causing their deaths >.<.
Darkwolf and kurokotetsu I believe that both Suzaku and Lelouch suck ass as characters because one of them is annoyingly strong (He pulls lelouch and shirly up from falling! Im guessing combined weight is about 240+lbs which is no easy feat considering Spinzaku is a twig)with too much morale and self righteousness while the other is equally annoying and overdramatic. Anyway I think no one is allowed to say blah blah blah char is better than blah blah blah because first of all they aren’t real second it differs from person to person. Lelouch is borderline psychotic. The last thing that can drive him off to the other side of sanity is Nunally being killed. Would be interesting to see. Also as Chilz pointed out, broadcasting Lelouch’s identity to the world would be interesting too. Brittania would be a total idiot to let the chance pass and not broadcast about it. They can easily disband the Black Knights with just that. And SINCE THEY HAVE AN EVIDENCE (the voice), I think they can somehow pull it off.

Kind of foolish of him to ask Zero to end the war since he never started it in the first place, still clueless, since all Zero did was prepare the ones who haven’t yet been conquered to prepare themselves to defend themselves since they were coming no matter what since the royal family obviously believe that by destiny, and self-proclaimed superiority, that the world belongs to them and that they can do anything they want with the people who aren’t their fellow Britannias.
Suzaku’s father probably knew this while he panicked and shot him in the back. Zero claimed responsibility for the two deaths for perhaps two reasons which was that he did feel responsibility for it and his sister’s safety was more important then his pride, while it was the side Suzaku was on that did it, like Rolo who’s mental and was putting the school in danger and Zero had to be careful with him or he would no doubt slaughter everyone.
Suzaku foolishly blames Zero for all the misery that’s going on, even though his actions, although some are questionable, only revealed what was already going on while fighting back before it was too late. The war and killing of innocent people is what gave birth to Zero, not the other way around, and this is the Emperor’s war and he made it where there is no choice but to fight.
Suzaku is foolish to think that giving up and letting them have the world with hopes that they will change for the best is “for” the best. All that would do is make things worse for the non-Britannias. A sacrifice that will give nothing in return.

Kallen and Lelouch will kick everyone’s ass through Lelouch’s Geass and Kallen’s kung fu, then escape in the Guren [whatever] 8 Extremities and head back to the Ikaruga and Lelouch sorties in Shinkirou. He and Suzaku have a shitpissing contest over the intercom while Kallen is like “GUYS SHUT THE FUCK UP”. Suzaku unleashes Nina’s bomb onto Tokyo and kills a shitload of people. During the bombing, Asahina dies, and says something that motivates the Black Knights against Lelouch.
The CompAce summary for 19 describes a “Britannian Envoy” coming to the Ikaruga. I got NFC about this. Uh, Guilford? No clue. There’s going to be some srsbsns buttsore shit about Lelouch being revealed to be a Britannian prince. I acutally pity both suzaku and lelouch at this point..
Suzaku was actually convinced to forgive lelouch and was about to make a pact, when the stpid knight of the round came and ruined it all and made suzaku look like he settled the whole thing up. Poor suzaku is trying his hardest to apologize to lelouch.. But I got to admit I that I coulnd’t stand suzakus face from the beginning of R2 up ’til now..
