From episode 21 this anime became a fucking adventure shonen like Naruto. They RUINED it, this anime is crap now.

Ya, I’m going to agree with you. It seems more like they did their best to speed up the progress and come to some sort of conclusion in the process and throwing quality out the window. My guess is this is the last episode that will be made. It really is a shame, some of the earlier episodes were downright amazing.

so i guess there will be season 2 for claymore. and it’s gonna follow the manga. seems like it. the ending didn’t really end the anime. i’m looking forward to the new one if there really is. =D

I loved the ending to this season!! It truely is the perfect ending to such a frantic, jammed packed season, Jeane dying the way I knew she only could, by protecting AND saving those around her, a true, honorable, worthy way to die. Words can’t describe how I felt for Claire and Jeane in thier connection and loyalty to one another. Either way, my favorite episode out of the entire series so far.

if u ever read this agentZ, it doesnt TAKE research to know there will b a season 2, tho i would say i agree, a lot of whiners do watch it. same w/ most anime. ive noticed so far, of the 2 finales ive watched that not too many ppl were happy w/ the endings, and from talk the same can be said about another series.
i like this ending actually, but i wont if there is no season 2. i will definately rewatch, whether there is a season 2 or not.

random guy, im ok w/ spoilers too. really, i had harry potter 7 spoiled for me (AND 6, btw) yet im not too disapointed. partly bcaus of ppls reactions i figured how it ended. but im still gonna read it. i like knowing the details. seriously, not too much surprises me in anime, tv shows, movies, etc apart from mayb a sudden startling type thing.
to all of you who say that there will be a season 2, fyi there isn’t. If they were to make one it would have to go a total different route than the manga, while the war in the north was going on Isley of the North was fighting Lucia of the south, in the south and Clair hasn’t been reunited with Raki yet and it’s 7 years later. clair never fights Pracilla. and in the 23rd episode the Silver Eyed Lion King said that his last great fight was with Isley while in fact it was with Pracilla, just befor Isley swore alegence to her. But all in all there won’t be a season 2, which pisses me off, because they did really good up to the 24th episode.
yea i think the ending sucked azz. y is it so hard to find a good anime series. are they getting lazy now or just lack of imagination. if anyone knows any good series can they please post them?
If you liked the claymore episodes then read the manga’s they are so much better after the 23rd episode. The anime and manga stay about the same, some minor changes, up to episode 23 or in the manga’s up till scene 59., but the manga’s are now taking place 7 years later and everyone is so much stronger.
OMG ewww!! i read the manga befor actualy watchign the anine …….. im really upset…… taht manga version is soo cool and its stil continuing >.> they made a diffrent ending in the anime and its soo rushed they took bits and peices from the other chaperts to make that ending >.

well according to tv.com under claymore it says Hiatus/TBD (to be determined) so there could possibly be a season 2.
HEYYYYY technically I believe the set up was on purpose to make a second season, but it is still just talk. There is no confirmation to what will happen with the anime, but since it deviated from the book’s plotline, it would be really hard for the animators to keep the pace of manga and anime at the same time. All in all, I say SWITCH TO THE MANGA!

I watched the episode the day of the release my comment comes in a little bit late….Bad episode for being a last one, it would be just fine if it was episode 20 or so…Don’t cry and wait for more action to come what u lot would have thinked if the season ended with Teresa dying? That would have been far worse…I need Claymore and I needed now!!…I wish they did more Darker than black….that was an awesome ending for it but a 2nd season wouldn’t hurt….its a shame.

most good anime have a “crappy” ending, but what good would it be if it always end with the “yay, they all live happely ever after”. when I watch a anime of this caliber I always know what will happen, but I still want it to be different. but if it WAS the way I want it to be it would prob suck ass. jst look at Blood+ didn’t like the ending, but it is my nr. 1 serie. Chrno Crusade. good serie, crappy ending. ALL GOOD ANIME HAVE A GOOD ENDING, but ppl still complains about it.. we humans are too needy^^
and about the season 2. there are posibilities that there will be one, but since many of u says the anime is way off the manga (don’t like manga) they will have to make som alternative ways to make episodes that will work alongside the manga. personally I don’t care if there is a season 2 or not, but if there is one coming I’ll eagerly await the first episode. this is a good show and I’m satisfied with the ending no matter how crappy it is:)

yea i really want a season 2 and now since people say the anime goes farther than this…7yrs im hearing im gonna have to buy it now…say goodbye to my full wallet =( oh well good cause lol, all in all though i thought this was a very well done anime series for it being short. the time put into it is shown off all the time by how well it turned out, except towards the end it seemed as though they were rushing and trying to squeeze things in. and also to everyone who didnt like the ending and some of the final episodes, i have to agree and disagree with you on the fact that it could have been better but it also left openings for a season 2 so can’t wait to see what happens and where they decide to go with this!
it’s jst like u said. they kinda rushed it. they should have made the plot a bit slower. I would have loved to see some more fighting. and right after Raki gets his claymore he should have had some training with Clare. would have been hilarious to see him get his ass whopped

i cant say for sure that there will be a season two. buh i think they left wayy too many openings to be a no.. cuz if i recall. alicia and beth was never revealed. watever happened to irene when rafaela met her was never revealed. the identification of the males who gives the job to claymore were never revealed. dweller of the deep just disappear into thin air and left with the phrase “join me.. i’ll be waiting for u then”. her true intention was never revealed. she only mentioned that her and easley is having a battle. riful was never seen or heard. galactea’s true intention was never revealed. at the very end. easley could hav finish all of them with ease and make it the worst ending ever.. however he didnt so thats another… and the list keeps going and going…

Okay, all those ppl who are calling the ppl that didnt like the ending whiners, please do us a favor and shut the f*** up. I sympathize with the ppl that hated this ending because guess what. almost all jap animes i have watched end with a non conclusive conclusion. and that crap gets annoying. now we gotta go read a damn manga? I don’t know if you others tried it but its tedious trying to make out some of the details in that crap. and always clicking to get to the next damn pages that sometimes dont load.
Oh and you should probably give up hope on that season 2 its been months and its a common trend for japanese to just stop animated episodes at random and make you read the manga. Inuyasha, Berserk, hunterxhunter etc…

since the beggining of the fight with the silver-eyed lion rigrado, the fights and plot changed from being surprising and smart to being too damn obvious: clare raising her power again and again, and flashbacks of the same things again and again..i can’t appreciate that when it was done hundreds of time in naruto..i dont mean to say this anime is bad - its awesome. perhaps its so awesome that a making a fitting end was impossible for them..and maybe they were just lazy (=

Okay, I haven’t really watched the anime, so maybe I’m confused because of that. But…
Why the Hell would Clare suddenly become “the same as yoma” by killing Priscilla? She’s killed awakened beings before, and a lot of them are the same way: people who accidentally went over their limit while just trying to do their job. Does the anime make a point of something being different about Priscilla or is Raki just full of shit?

Anyway, great anime, especially for only 26 episodes, 24 was my favorite episode even though there was almost no fighting. I think there will be a season 2, though considering how long its been since s1, I’m pretty concerned. I haven’t seen many animes, but I don’t think they can just leave it off at this.

new claymore manga comes out May 4th
All those waiting for season2 might as well stop becaues chances are that it wont come out for another 2-3 years. The reason? Season one followed the manga up to about chapter 60, there are only 73 chapters out at the minute and as it is a monthly manga it will take alot of time for there to be enough material to do a 2nd series.
Although the end does go away from the manga so maybe they plan to make it up.

well personally i think that thye have the ability to start off a season 2 right now i mean think about this for a second the plots all screwed up so they could have about 10+ episodes fixing the story and getting it back on track say clare ended up fighting easly and got seperated from raki again but runs into miria and the rest who were forced to hide in the north from the organization meanwhile(7 years passing) the organization is making all these replacements for the warriors lost in the north and easly goes to fight in the south. Its not perfect but for the most part the story would be back on track with only minor changes and alterations and everythings back on with the manga.

when it comes to anime you should know that sometimes they take years to put out a new season, but eventually they do, but who knows, i read all the series of hajime no ippo and slam dunk, and the anime never came close to what happens in the manga, also look at saint seiya more that ten years and they still put out like 4 episodes every two years, who knows what will happen…..
