Comment on Movie: Well since i understand it i did not need to wait for the subs or anything, so it felt good.. the movie was mainly a focus on Nagisa Story, also note the other characters may have had different setting from Anime, but they are not False was it happens sometime or another during Game play, which is the original story…..Besides that the movie was awesome, it was funny, cute, had sad parts and happy parts, but all in all the ending just made my day, just watch, and u should like it too… ending to me was just awsome in such a situation…..

This movie is really close to the ending in the game for Nagisa, however the dream is a bit different, The Dream in the Anime is more accurate then this dream. In Game she does die, but comes back to life after collecting lights that Tomoya had been doing, but in Movie it would have been stupid so, i think the movie was fine the way it was, i mean did u not just love the ending, after the sad came the awesome awww so cute, and happy part. probably for the Anime they might make it a lit different..

Umm wowi dont know whether to be happy or sad was very toching my GF was crying almost through the whole movie and it g a snuffle out of me two we wish the series doesnt end…. but yeah had a good ending.

Man.. that was such a sad tear jerking movie.. cant believe it ended like that. it was very well done and i loved the ending. I noticed there was definatlly alot of changes from the actual anime itself, I wonder how the anime will finish.. Poor Nagisa :(. this was definatly worth staying up till 5:15am for.

Yet I don’t understand why everyones so pissed about the ending, it was very good after all!
And to remember you, like some people already said Clannad was a Game in the first place which indeed has serveral endings.
Or like someone else said: she was revived in the game, and if you think over it the Anime Series had some “mysterious” stuff… Fuko for example.
Anyway great movie, but the Anime Series ist better in my opinion.

i think this movie actually came out before the anime, because it seems to say that on ANN, so thats probably why there are loads of differences. it also makes more sense, because would they really release a similar movie while an anime series of it is going on?

I nearly cried for the movie Nagisa, but I think it likely that I will cry properly when the episodes reach that far since I’ve grown more ‘attatched’ to the episodic Nagisa. The series were much more happy than this one. Why would they do something like that to poor Nagisa and that guy?! What for? i never imagined that an anime would ever make me cry. I have watched many very touching movies, and i rarely actually shed tears, but this make me cry. More so during the reunion of tomoya and his daughter than nagisa’s death, so touching

ok if u guys like this and if u like movies that make u cry watch kanon 2002 for original of kanon series and u can still watch 2006 version cause story changes somewhat (though it still has all the sad parts) or chose one 2002 is older so not as good graphics. 2006 version better graphics and longer story (longer main story with extra stuff not in original) I would recommend watching both several times (and clannad) plz manga writers make more great stuff like this more often and animate it i would pay alout to see more anime like this. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!!!

even though I cried and my heart ached i was happy with the end (a little unexpected since i knew nagisa was going to die, but i love it!) The feeling that the end gave me was that okazaki will still see nagisa in his dreams =) (right? …the dream they had together…) and he is with his daughter who is a little nagisa who will just make him happy everyday! yay!

Also I think there is a lesson from all this: to find your inner happiness, to smile and look foward to life, to find your loved one and enjoy those moments together and be thankfull you had wonderful times together and one day, you will meet again =) and not be sad all by yourself, because there are people who care about you and that need you, and if your loved one is not there anymore you need to be strong and think how would they want you to keep on living untill the very end. Because after the rain the sun will always come out and a rainbow will also be there.
