Harems… twins falling in love with you… any guy in the real world would be so fucking happy but the problem with harems is that someone is gonna get hurt, and thats the bottom line thats my problem with them. While we all hope that nothing doesn’t turn out like school days, harems tend to go in a typical mundane way to apease the auidance that connects with their most fav character even when others don’t like that character and thats the problem, well if you cared enough.
Yay people agree with me^^ I feel that its unfair tat only nagisa gets her story told completely, while the others just have to deal with a short insignificant arc in the first season. Then tomoyo an kyou get a 1 ep thing(tomoyo was a 30 min ova, this probably has a few eps because of how the ep was structured but who knows?). The majority of the character fan base is located on girls other then nagisa, mostly around the two who have received ovas, and im sure everyone would agree to at least one other character having a full 26 ep series. This is the whole reason why im waiting patiently for the english patch for the visual novel to come out, because the anime failed to explore the other routs. But of course its always like this for a visual novel anime, short arcs of certain characters and a finish with just a single. Damn japan for doing this!!!! Grr!!! … Im done ranting for now>.>

Hey Okami!! It has been a really long time, huh? Yeah, I love Tomoya and Nagisa as a couple. She’s may have been gentle and shy, but that never made her boring!
Everyone has their favorite female character on this anime and mine just happens to be Nagisa. As for Fuuko and Tomoya together, I don’t know! That I just can’t see. She’s not all there and she’s a bit bizarre. Inspite of that I’d like to see what kind of relationship they would have.

Nagisa isn’t thay boring…i found her quite cute and innocent in the way she acted and is the supportive motherly type…to one’s there preference it is a visual novel for a reason….Fuuko is more of a bizzare-cuteness, the OLDER after-story Fuuko is (to me) appealing…mainly because i like Moe/funny characters…The twin’s i didn’t really like…mainly because you choose one the other gets really hurt (as displayed in the OVA)…what i want to see is Sunohara getting some love lol

Tomoya was more darker in the original serie. It seemed like a totally different character on this.
Personnaly, I would like it to see what would have happen with the one with the grey hair

The tomoyo after manga followed one of the bad ends to the tomoyo after visual novel, there are many more ends though of course. I wouldnt know how it ends though, english patch is only starting to be worked onT.T
I completely agree with you chlose, I think each girl should get her own season. It’d be a way of bringing back Clannad, Like you know that feeling when you want more in an anime? instead of it ending? yeah.. this anime also has that feeling but it also has the potential to continue on from each girls point of view. That’d be a really interesting thing to do!

lol, i still want to see an OVA with the childhood friend and the girl that serves coffee but making more seasons with a girl for each season isn’t going to be fun because i think nagisa is the really interesting girl so they have more room for 50 episodes (the white-haired girl would do fine for 25 episodes)

Well, I wouldn’t say “ruined the story.” Some people actually liked this, including me mainly because some animes can do more but end. Clannad has potential for more than just a story for just one girl.
