Yea I think thats pretty much what I got from the episode “uh ohh”
It seemed that was his prior “hobby” that was what he did perhaps in his hometown? And then in comming to this academy he didn’t want to be part of the military; which is why he didn’t get involved(untill an inocent was gonna get hurt) , and tried to not be part of a platoon.
Though It seems some people already know about his “Special Abilities” ( the whole sword dealy-bob) while others only saw his speed.
All in all the episode was good, though some explinations would be nice,specially since the manga doesn’t have this portion heh; though I think will come with the next episode when he gets to know his platoon and such.
Looks nothing short of epic. I’ll be watching.

i really want to know who that oranged hair girl at the beginning and end is to Layfon cuz in it away its quite sad seeing it go off like that specially since it looked more like a farewell kiss. nontheless this anime is really awesome probably gonna be one of the best new animes 2009 and the fight scenes are insane and the song has is just great.

wow, the anime is really different… i think i like the way the manga is set better though, it has a more humorous tint to it… but the anime’s really good too ^.^ the president’s voice kinda bothers me, i was thinking it should be more like abel from trinity blood… or maybe that’s just cuz they both have silver hair and glasses ^.^
