I HATE THE ARTWORK
Looks so bad.
The animation is pretty good. The sound effects suck. Like srsly, the small girl at 13:56 sounded like a 20 year old wapanese female. Which i’m sure she is.
Finally, the story sucks flaming hog balls on a platter.

umm i think if u know the history, this is for the hardcore fan, and more for adult who wish to see Casshern again… may suck in ur eyes but there are lots who are gonna love the remake, and also new fellas who will get in to the series.

This just suck.. There’s no proper plot, artwork suck, script doesn’t make any sense.. Its just one person busting up every shitty robot and i am guessing he will be doing that for the rest of the this series. I probably hear this word destroy or destruction for like the whole episode..

Okay, seriously… I liked it. I like an old school anime feel regardless of that fact that Ringo (the little blonde girl) reminded me of E.T. in some places. I think the plot is enticing, because I want to know more. Casshern is an interesting character. The plot’s confusing but there’s only 21 minutes to the first episode. I guess it’s just what you’re looking for in an anime and what you’re not.
I recommend it.
I like it!! Very brutal and action packed!! The animation is slightly dated but somehow fits with the series motif. I definitely intrigued! Cant wait til the next one.
feel free to disagree with me but i don’t like the art and i don’t like this anime. I miss my animes. Lots of my animes ended. First special s, then d. gray man, then to love ru, then nabari no ou, and then code geass! This makes me sad that all my animes ended. And btw Code Geass was AWESOME!!!!!!! really? nabari no ou? the art in nabari no ou has no real artistic value. its just make every single thing as skinny as possible. so far the most fluid animation i’ve seen is probably from soul eater. best animation i find to be is… well dont really know how to describe it. but its a cross between that one fight in naruto where the animation changed from all the episodes, and it made the fight scene actually look fluid. it kinda looked like noein but a little cleaner. i really wish a cleaner looking and more imaginative anime would come out. tengen toppa gurren lagann had pretty good animation and is what really broke the wall for me from watching crappy anime, and eureka 7 was pretty good for a mecha. but yea, casshern sins, art wise i like it. character’s look like they actually have muscle tone unlike in nabari no ou.
wow! beautifully consistant animation. very nostalgic. this is definately my #1 pick for the fall lineup. if you cant appreciate this amazing work of art, which many of your comments show that, then go back to watching naruto or bleach
If I am to compare it to other series that are growing up like Tales of the Abyss this is NOT worth watching. If you are reading this comment down here is because you needed to know if this anime is good for any reason. No its not, unless you are 50 and like Mazinger Z like animes.

Watch REAL animes like Hellsing, Code Geass, Blade of The Immortal, Cowboy Bebop, Darker Than Black, Golgo 13 and FMA instead of this ridiculous poor excuse for an anime. Movie was awesome, but this is embarassing!

wow im suprised that so many people didnt like this anime. Seems interesting. Story is a bit different then most. Instead of having the main character start out weak and becoming strong because of some philosopigal reason, casshern starts out strong and seeks philosophical stuff later :S

anyone who judges the plot by watching the first episode is a friggin retard. you gotta watch atleast 3 episodes of an anime to actually being able to see what it really is like. also, lately all animes have the same looks, its nice to see something new (in this case remake) once in a while.

There’s nothing wrong with this show,the animation and art is brilliant!Cyborg 009 & Astro Boy are two of my favorite animes. You kids just want things to be all flashy and shiny like Naruto, and after seeing the movie you expected something else, go watch the first Casshern series and you’ll understand the love we have for Casshern.
people in the world.. if you want a perfect anime try to make your own.. and lets see if you can do better.. Dont judge.. Art is something we value created by our imagination.. so it depends on our imagination if we like this anime or not.. pls respect the creator of this anime.. love it or hate it, this anime will still be here.. =)

alright now that we’ve all seen what a piece of shit this remake was, I think we can agree with the first ACTUAL poster, that it gets -10/10 and should not be recommended to anyone. It’s just scene after scene of ridiculous looking artwork, in an anime that NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE.
I hope everyone who was involved with the production gets cancer of the dick/vagina.
