   Wow, Rukia is really small, isn’t she.
   On an unrelated note, the episode doesn’t have any awesome fight scenes. There’s some pretty sweet pwn-Ichigo moments, but that really just damaged my respect for him more than it made my hair stand on end. And the obligatory slow-mo for the “surprising” scene, that always gets me.

    Oh dear… this filler is good and all but if they are going to drag it out like this all the time showing constant flashbacks and same scenes over and over and using the same characters more or less in a row of frequent episodes, people are going start getting tired of it all and bored… they should mix up the events and change the character we are following half way to keep us on our toes… I know, I know it’s hard to get what I’m saying… ah well…

    Thanks for posting, and they could have made this filler into a movie, cuz it has that bleach movie vibe to it. Its kinda predictable though, ichigos zengetsu is not going leave him, yatta yatta yatta ichigo saves the day BACK TO MAIN STORY !

    Muramasa = kenpachi’s zanpaktou. He said that he is zanpaktou too… he has powers not recognized by anyone… only Kenpachi wasnt on the captain meeting… and he (muramasa) has reasons to be angry on his owner - remember what Zangetsu have told to Ichigo wnen he was fighting with Zaraki? his sword is screaming…

    talking about zaraki I noticed while reading the manga Bleach that zaraki’s zanpakuto wasn’t rusty, on the verge of destruction ,… and all I though it was because of the huge amount of reiatsu there is in Hueco mondo that his sword got repaired. simply muramasa reconcile with kenpachi=> sword repaired no screaming zanpakuto anymore.

    Rukia used a way of binding #61 and #73. Very impressive. She didn’t even use an incantation for #73! I didn’t know she was so good at kidu. All I can remember her using is #33 blue fire all the time.

    All right I’ll say again. The anime team worked with Tite Kubo (Bleach Manga Writer) on this arc, for zanpakuto design AND story BOTH. He even said he wished he could add this to the manga. So I’d stop considering this to be as much as a filler arc as filler arcs normally go. I’d just say a spur of the moment out of place arc we missed. I’m thinking we should even get a god peek at more of the captain’s abilities from their zanpakuto, like that one in the last episode with lightning, unless I should already know who’s zanpakuto that was. If so, my bad.

     and yea i have no idea whos zanpaktou is the one shooting lightning this filler arc is the best filler out of all anime so dont complain if u hate it so much come back in 4 months cause this is gonna be a year filler deal with it and who else thinks rukia should take notes on how Sode no Shirayiku is kicking her ass so she can come up with new attacks besides Tsuchki and Hakuren those shard attacks and ice shield could come in handy not to mention the blizzard atack would have been huge help against the exequis in Hueco Mundo

     muramasa is definately zaraki kenpachi’s zanpatou. even, though this is just a guess, i’m sure of it. They wouldn’t have zaraki missing from the episodes if muramasa wasn’t his.

     how muramasa can control the other zanpatou’s….

     zaraki has a monstrous reitsu, and muramasa shows the same monstrous reitsu. that monstrous reitsu, probably intimidates the other zanpatou into siding with muramasa.

     possibly after the end of this “mini-arc”, this is how the shinigami’s learn their second form powers (that some people have spoiled from the manga) or at least some new powers like can be seen from rukia’s zanpatou, if not their second form powers.

     There is no way that Muramasa is Zaraki’s zanpakutou. This is a filler, not the actual storyline. If something like that happened it would contradict the story so bad that Tite Kubo would probably have to start over the story at a point.

     Also, zanpakutou reflect their users right? So explain to me in any way how Muramasa reflects Zaraki. His sword would be something like a monster if you ask me.

     Ichigo beat his inner hollow with his powers what dont u understand if the true form of the zanpaktou comes out they can no longer use it he is powerless he may have huge riatsu but what he gonna do he caint use his getsuga tenshou thats zangetsu’s power he has no kido i dont think his hakudo is good enough to beat it unless he secrelty obtained shunko like Yoruichi and as u see all the zanpaktou have high speed movement in real form so zangetsu is superior in the hai-hai or movement department so how cna he beat with with inferior zanjutsu inferior hakudo inferior hai-hai and no kido

     especially, zangetsu, i bet zangetsu could win the entire espada war (ulquioo, rank 1-3 espada, aizen and his 2 shinigami) all by himself. *grins*

     black reitsu hollow ichigo and zangetsu are some of the darkest-most powerful coolest looking characters i have seen.

     reasons why muramasa is probably or could be zaraki’s:

     1. zaraki isn’t present. this can’t be simple coincidence.

     2. muramasa wants to end shinigami’s reign. if i remember right, zaraki doesn’t like shinigami that much either and his goal was to be the most powerful of them, aka kenpachi.

     3. muramasa has a large reietsu, and the look on ichigo’s face when he feels it at the end of this episode, looks just like the look he had when he first fought zaraki when he was rescuing rukia from the execution in soul society.

     4. if muramasa isn’t zaraki’s, than who other shinigami’s zanpatou could he be?

     5. muramasa went to ichigo (though maybe only to save rukia’s zanpatou). this could mean that he is zaraki’s zanpatou and desires to fight ichigo’s powerful reietsu, just like zaraki does.

     though aizen and his zanpatou does have the same qualities that muramasa is showing:

     1. wants to destroy the shinigami’s reign
     2. both (aizen’s zanpatou’s power and muramasa) have the power to trick-deceive others into doing what they want.

     You people aren’t making much sense. For all those who think that Ichigo would lose against his zanpakutou, please read the manga. Especially the part where he’s fighting Ulquiorra. I don’t want to spoil it so I won’t go into further detail. Also, it’s Muramasa. He said it like four times since this arc started. Get it right. Anyway, take note that Zangetsu probably doesn’t want to fight Ichigo since he called him into his inner world to ask him if he could still “hear him”.

     um kenpachi is the only one worth watchin in my opinion seriously all the other captains lose there composure way to quick whick is btw a big sign of weakness kenpachi doesnt also i dont think this is kenpachi’s zanpakto probably of someone not part of the main story line ive seen enough bleach to know that wont be the case we wil probably never see his bankai or zanpakto real/true form besides his special move with 2 hands was nothin else but him puttin a 100% effort behind the attack thats all. thats pretty awesome if you consider he fights at 60 % of his normal capacity at max ussually

     It is possible that Rukia’s zanpakuto is no longer under Muramasa’s control. Zangetsu could also be working to buy time towards defeating Muramasa. If he is being controlled, too, he’s not fully under control. As far as Muramasa being Kenpachi’s zanpakuto, he may not resemble Kenpachi in any manner but power, because they never connected. Kenpachi chose to develope his own way. His zanpakuto chose the same thing but instead of brute force, decided to go the opposite route into deception and manipulation. Angry at being ignored, he seeks to break up every other shinigami / zanpakuto bond. And by destroying the shinigami, he’ll never have to be envious of that type of bonding, again. …Being Aizen’s zanpakuto is also a possibility. Unless it’s Aizen himself behind this plot, it’s harder to come up with an angle for being there, though.

     I have a feeling that there will be more reconciliations between shinigami and zanpakutos before Muramasa’s control is lifted, and those bonds are going to be strengthened. Rukia’s zanpakuto is going to come to her aid. And, of course, Zangetsu is going to back Ichigo up.

     Again to those who think that ichigo hollow powers will make a big difference besides other shinigami KUBO STATES ICHIGO WONT BE A BIG PART OF THIS FILLER IN OTHER WORDS HE WONT BE GOING full hollow form thus all he will get from his mask form is huge riatsu and as i stated up there he has no abilities without his zanpaktou which gave him increased speed and getsuga tenshou he has no kido inferior hakudo and thus he caint beat shit do u not seee what is beating the zanpaktou is kido its how Byakuya saved rukia its how Rukia freed Sode no Shirayiku plus i dont believe Kubo intends this filler to be after ichigo accidently went full hollow form most likely before they went into hueco mundo and if u remember his hollow powers was weak back then he could only go into it for few seconds so why do u think it will be a big factor now considering my reasons the only way Ichigo will beat zangetsu is if he isnt really being controlled or isnt fully controlled by Muramasa or he gets freed really i dont even think Muramasa is controlling the zanpaktou more like their freeedom is driving them to not allow the shinigami to regain control after all he said he persuaded them and as u see Sode no Shirayiku only wanted freedom as soon as Rukia gave that to her she didnt want to let go also he couldnt persuade the Captain Commander zanpaktou and thus had to seal it this was probabvly due to how much time the captain commander has spent with his zanpaktou and there is no plot hole in story becuase if zanpaktou die their shinigami dies they dont need to kill them they could just seal them just like Captain Commander iuf thye did it to him it will be even easier to seal the rest of them

     You REALLY must be dumb, because Kenpachi’s zanpakuto does have a name, he just doesn’t know it’s name yet. Muramasa is very likely to be Kenpachi’s zanpakuto. So Yamamoto and Komamura not knowing who Muramasa was lends credence to that theory, because how would they know Kenpachi’s zanpakuto’s name, when he doesn’t even know it. Also, it would make all the sense in the world because;

     1. Kenpachi has been mysteriously missing since this started, so Muramasa must have got to him first.

     2. Kenpachi has not treated his zanpakuto well, so it would give his zanpakuto (Muramasa) all the reason in the world to rebel, like he is doing right now.

     I really love this filler arc and I think it is gonna last for quite awhile, which I don’t mind as long as the episodes are as good as the last 2.

     to the people that say “that can’t be kenpachi’s sword because Muramasa’s sword doesn’t look like kenpachi’s”.
     but if kenpachi still doesn’t know his sword’s name, then it would be a different form than its real shikai. It’s like Ichigo’s situation. When Ichigo hadn’t communicated with Zangetsu, it was a different form than when he had.
     Although, i still don’t think Muramasa is Kenpachi’s sword. It’s a filler, so it shouldn’t leave any actual important or lasting effect.

     This started out as a great idea for a filler… until this episode. All the crap that was made perfectly clear in the previous episode was barfed up, rinsed, and then repeated in this one. So much unnecessary, STUPID dialogue and flashbacks, and Rukia and Ichigo both look much stupider than usual as well. I mean, COME ON, DUH you can’t use you shikai. And DUH, Ichigo, your zanpakuto is an old man and doesn’t look like you, so DUH other people’s zanpakuto don’t look like themselves. Yeesh.

XD This is a filler arc, so unless the anime makers decide to suddenly stop following the manga like what happened with the original Fullmetal Alchemist, Kenpachi won’t suddenly have a name for his sword!

     Also, I think the reason Kubo Tite decided not to go Kenpachi a name for his sword because if he ever achieved Bankai, it’d like…blow up the world or something with it’s sheer power.
