Can’t be sure if it means there will be filler or not – in the manga, there are a bunch of chapters right after the Pendulum arc that do not feature Ichigo, so it could be filler, or it could be story (either way, will see episodes without Ichigo for a while).

Although the hollowfication process isn’t explained (I have not read the manga) I think it ties in with how close you are to dying. All of the were slashed/damaged/bleeding just like how Ichigo was about to die in the beginning. (If i remember correctly he was stripped of his powers and if he didn’t get it back soon he would die)

Somebody, I just finished reading Bleach 351 and it is totally awesome!!! Ichigo is alive, unbelievably grotesque, but alive. I can hardly wait for the anime episode that will show Ichigo’s incredible transformation. Talk about something or someone that refuses to die. And all for the love of friends. I love both the anime and the manga. Long live BLEACH!!!!!

This Is a Great EPisode and to all people that dont like the flashback series it adds depth to the story already given especially theselast ones gives the reader and viewer the backstory of how the vaizards came about and how izen and his crew were involved you just get this awesome feeling of putting the pieces together so fuck all yall haters Bitches!!!!!
