This is not a filler!! A filler is an episode or episodes that have nothing whatsoever to do with the actual storyline. Like the Captain Amagai arc or the Bount arc. They were just thrown in there as extras.
I really enjoyed this episode, now I get to see how the Vaizard actually became vaizards. Thank you so much for posting this.

actually the bount part wasnt really a filler, if you remember during ichigo’s hollowfication, in one of his hallucinations (while the vizards were fighting his evil part) he talks to the lead bount and fights him again, and also alot of the bount arc was involved with ishida when he was usin that tool, he was criticized by his father etc, so the bount isnt a filler, no other fillers are referenced in the main story, and it seems that the bount one plays a role in ichigo and ishida’s personal issues
Finally we get to see Kisuke Urahara in action. Can’t wait for the prison.

Unless the vizard become involved in the battle for karakura town, putting in the vizard arc now is using it as a filler. Hopefully as a result they will reduce the amount of time spent on recaps as that has been a real detriment to the anime series.

This will show the reasons on why Urahara and the other captains left and the begining of Aizens plot.
This is a vital to the main story with more detail on the Vizards as people can see they where captains and vice captains.
This arc will explain many unanswerd questions except a few and when the heck Ichigo’s dad was a captain or his story is still unkown atm.

1. This is NOT a filler episode, check the manga again.
2. If you haven’t read the manga, don’t ask questions if you really don’t wanna know the answer (spoilers).
3. Byakuya Kuchiki is not a captain in this time period.
4. Still REALLY wanting to see Urahara’s Bankai since it hasn’t been released yet in manga.
Yah you know Subrak I want to tell you but i can’t. But I will tell you this. This part of the story is very important it’s an understanding of how hollowification became to be and why. It’s awsm seriously. Really though just be patient and it will all come together in the near future.
I see that some people wonder why they put this in the middle of when Aizen just came to destroy the town.
Reason is that this is how it is in the manga.
The manga is a bit dry in my tast for the last few new issues but it will pick up. Feels just shorter than it use to be.
Any who we have a far hell to go to catch up to the manga if we dont come up with a filler arc…. after we finish turn back the pendulum arc which is a fave of mine in the manga.
The story is far from over even in the manga where some think after Aizen is beat it is done.
I think there is a evil far more threatening than Aizen after the whole thing with him is done.
Urahara is awesome but I only seen Him fight a Couple of Times

This is a filler. Filler doesnt mean it doesnt have anything to do with the compleet story line, it means its a waste of time.. an episode between the ongoing story line that doesnt realy matter in anyway.
these kind of storys should have been tolt before episode one not at episode 206. imo this episode is just another waste of 24minutes.. if this kind of crap keeps up i’ll just stop watching bleach since its getting more and more bullshit by the month -.-

Good series have to have people question and wonder how so and so came to this point. If they did it in the begining there be nothing to surprise you and that would make it dull and boring…

galaxydj ur an idiot. yea i don’t read the manga or any other manga but im smart enough to know that this an’t a filler ur an idiot for thinking it was a filler first off. yea they did the new arc in between hueco mundo arc oh well this arc will make up for so much better than the amagai one which was crappy btw. plus like i said this arc is gonna be awesome i’ve always wanted to know the story before ichigo and the others anyhow and now i do and then when they finally get back to real story its gonna be perfect after this arc cause its like this u see the prequil or however u spell it which prequils are always awesome if the anime is good which bleach is then whenever the prequil is done bam right back to the hueco mundo where we finally get to see ichigo fight uuliqioura or however u spell his name and so on. i don’t believe that bleach is over after aizen is either dead and there is a greater evil or aizen runs off again. if anyone remembers that when ichigo was fighting his hollow half before he faded away his hollow half said “don’t die before i give u all my power” i think thats how he said it. if ichigo does get all that power while fighting aizen then there is a good possibility that bleach is over which i hope not but ichigo doesn’t then there gonna continue cause there was a greater evil than aizen. if they don’t continue it if ichigo doesn’t get all that power then thats gonna piss alot of people off cause when he said that people would be expecting to see ichigo at full power. anyways i said what i said and im glade they didn’t do another filler with V2′s female counter part(V2 is from Code Geass for anyone who doesn’t know)

But yer this is MANGA arc and I luving this episode it was the first manga chapter in the arc but they made it longer, I personally thought the pendulum arc is too short in the manga!

They stayed true to the manga, yet brought some new stuff that made it look even better.
The quality of Veoh is awsome.
The status of the characters was realistic and the comedy was funny.
