    I like this ep. and most all of the ones I see from Bleach, Naruto, and One Piece. I don’t see why you guys don’t get that the anime and the manga are going to have differences. In an anime they want the show to be good for everyone so they add some little extras to develop the chars. more. I know it’s pointless to even try and convince some that the filler eps. are just as good and as important to the anime. And that the manga doesnt have them because it’s for a different type dimigraphic. Oh well. Keep on complaining about the fillers cause I know those of you that do won’t stop it. I’ll just say WHAAAAAAAAAAAA! to you babies that can stand a bit of dirvisity.

    Look guys… if you don’t like the show, you don’t have to watch. Personally, I really like it because there are NO fillers. Every single episode we’ve seen has been out of the manga so STOP CRYING!!!! WHHHHAAAAAA that’s what all you babies sound like. Sheesh.

    These past two episodes are straight out of the manga and will (eventually) relate to the main plot. You just wait and see. And if you think I’m wrong, just read the manga and find out.

    this episode was bad but i do understand what Tired is saying, however the next episode (even though a filler) sounds interesting, mainly because by the looks of it the guy that is similar to ichigo appears to have been a part of Soul Society and who knows we might even see Ichigos dad lol so many things that could be done

    To clarify for everyone, this was a two episode filler spree. The 110 year return to the past shown in the preview for the next episode is NOT filler, taking place after chapter 315 in the manga (and before 316 as Kubo Tite tried an interesting numbering scheme).
    The Swinging of the Pendulum is an actual arc, not Luyichio and the like.

    The arcs The New Captain with Captain Shosuke Amagai, Luri-chan and the Bounts were all fillers. They were just kind of thrown in there and had absolutely nothing to do with the original storyline. They were not part of the manga. The next arc “Turn Back the Pendulum” is not a filler. It’s actually part of the original storyline.

    This was the WORST episode I’ve ever seen. The only good part about it is that it’s over now.

    Oh, and Tired: You’re a troll. This isn’t part of the story arc (kinda obvious considering how they are suddenly NOT in Hueco Mundo). I don’t mind filler, but it has to be entertaining. It has to have decent action and (preferably) a RELEVANT PLOT.

    Non-canon(manga) storyline episodes = filler episodes

    Episodes 204-205 and seasons 4, 5, and 9 have all been filler episodes. They do NOT follow the story that is laid out in the manga and they don’t advance the main plot in the manga at all either. The Bounts (seasons 4 and 5) were not in the manga nor were Amagai (season 9) and Lurichiyo, Kenryuu, and Enryuu (season 9, and ep 204-205) in the manga either. They are anime-only characters created for anime-only storyline episodes, more commonly refered to as fillers. Okay. You have now been re-informed.

I have not read the manga nor do I plan to, so really I could not care less about an ep. being called a filler or not. My comments were baised on the fact that a lot of people just like to complain about them and it’s gotten old. (BTW I’m the Tired from the first 2 comments, or 1 comment and one correction is you want to get into details.) As I stated in my first comment I just wished that people would stop the complaining about them, also as I said before they are not going to stop the complaining. So oh well!.      To tired and everyone else… this in no way relates to the future manag plot. I can say this because I’ve READ the entire manga up to whats been made public. After this little filler, enjoyable as these plot breaks are, The Pendulum arch will start and you will learn how Kisuke Urahara was stripped of his position as captain of the 12th division and how the freak who currently presides is the captain. You will also learn of the origins of the Vaizards and why they don’t immediately fight Aizen.
