Don’t give PA a bad name. Both of you (Phillyguy and Jdawg) need to learn proper punctuation before you try to bash someone. Learn how to use ellipses (…) and apostrophes (‘). “Its really not hard”=It’s really not hard and “English than you guy’s”=English than you guys. Just because someone writes like shit informally doesn’t mean he lacks grammatical understanding.

I really love this show but I agree with some I would like to see ichigo kick the butt of this aizen and his comrades, he sucks. at least some ennemies before had more class than aizen like kariya
About the “Listen to the anime in Japanese to learn Japanese”. I was once told that Japanese people, although they understand the anime pretty well, they don’t talk like people from the Animes… People who go all “Desu, Anon and Kawaii!” really offend Japanese when they overuse those expressions, because Oriental people don’t speak all that way… It’s true that they use the expressions once in a while but the point is: If you listen and read the subtitles you will only learn to speak “Anime Japanese”, without proper Japanese classes. That’s my 2cents.
Well said, Sanosuke20. I can’t tell you how irritating it is to scan through all this crap for the one or two worthwile comments.
To the person who made the argument that because this isn’t for an English report, that it shouldn’t necessitate correct spelling and grammar, I have this to say: While it is perfectly acceptable to write what and how you like; it should be blisteringly apparent that you’ll likely be considered an idiot by the general population. Personally, in a professional atmosphere and even otherwise, I’ll usually give such a person little to no credit if I even read their opinion at all. That aside — you, as well as everyone else should hold themselves to higher standards regardless of what everybody else is doing.
Lastly, I enjoy watching the raw captures of these shows. I speak limited Japanese and it helps me to learn more quickly than it would were I paying closer attention to the subtitles instead of the spoken language.

My post above wasn’t meant as an offense to anyone here, it’s just what I’ve been told by a Japanese friend. That he just hates it when people use the “standart” words that they learn in Animes and presume that every and single one of the Japaneses talk like that all the time…
Also, insulting other individuals with phrases like, “lick my balls” does no good for your credibility, either. If you’re going to insult someone, at least make it appropriate and funny.

Oh sorry for bringing up this a couple days later again but I read something that had to deal with my last comment from Brian which missed the point this is not a professional atmosphere and doing what other ppl are doing was not included in my statement but I do get your point and the English Report comment was to say that we already know there isn’t going to be correct anything all the time on these comments so dont treat it like we are stupid and dont know how to write proper english just because we choose not to and therefore we are not here to be ridiculed about the way we write if maybe this was an important situation im sure everyone would write to the pleasure of a professional atmosphere and if not everyone im sure you’ll see a change but this I would consider a care-free environment and I will write how I want thats the way I see it but im going to leave it at that and I know I barely use any punctuation but that is my point I should’nt have to please anyone on an anime site
